Base Class: Fighter
You know your way around a knife, using them in the kitchen but also now in battle. You have learned how to use your knife skills to fight. You can use more than just knives, but they are your specialty. Different types of knives will give you different effects. Your cooking skills and leadership skills grow as you do. Eventually you will be able to use them not only in battle, but in-between and after them too.
Level 3: Level 3: Chef's Special
At third level you have gained the ability to use your specialty in three types of knives- the Chef's knife, the serrated knife, and the meat cleaver. Each knife has a different effect. The Chef's knife is nimble and the one you know best. The serrated knife rips the flesh and creates a bleeding effect. The meat cleaver is heavy and does more damage.
Every knife does 1d6+modifier as base damage.
Based on the type of knife you use, you add a d4 to either your attack roll, damage roll, or When you use your action surge, the knife damage becomes d8s and your Chef's Special bonus die becomes d6s for that round ONLY.
You gain extra d4's at the 6, 8, 12, 16, and 19th levels.

Level 7: Level 7: Exotic Ingredients
After defeating a creature you can roll nature check to butcher the creature (AC 8 + creature rating rounded up). Ex. Base of 8+ CR of 1/8 = 9. After a successful roll you can add your intelligence modifier to attacks against the same creature.
It takes you 10 minutes times the creature level to dissect, cut, and examine the creature that you have killed to learn how to better kill it next time. However, this only works for that exact creature sub-type, i.e. If you succeed your butchering process on a Black Dragon you cannot add the modifier to all dragons, only the black dragon.
If the corpse disintegrates before the time needed, on fire, etc you cannot use this feature.
If you fail the nature check the body is no longer salvageable and you cannot try again.
Level 10: Level 10: Sous Chef
At the 10th level, your knowledge of food prep and foraging allows you to find ingredients and create a small soup, that takes 30 mins to create, one per short rest that heals either a single person the full effect or two people half the effect each. Using this feature on a short rest does not hinder the effects of the short rest. At 10th level heal 4d4 HP, this increases to 5d4 at 11th level and to 6d4 at 14th level.
Level 15: Level 15: Head Chef
Due to your long term training and expertise, you have gained the management and inspiration skills of a Head Chef. Just like during a kitchen rush, your comrades can get their hopes down and fall behind. Catch them back up and get them back on task by using your bonus action to give them a few words of encouragement. You and your comrades within a 30 foot radius now have advantage on all attack rolls and saving throws until start of your next turn.
Level 18: Level 18: Food for Thought
At 20th level, once per short rest, you can create a simple meal that, once eaten, will give you or an ally double proficiency (expertise) on a skill of your choosing for 24 hours, or until you use this feature again, whichever comes first. The meal itself takes about 30 mins to create and can be created during a short rest without losing the effects of the short rest. If you already are proficient with a skill and use this ability on that skill, it does not gain triple proficiency, merely becomes expertise for the duration. All skills on the skill list are available for this feature.
