Base Class: Fighter
After having your freedom wrongfully taken from you, your prayers and dreams begging for freedom, justice, and revenge received an answer. Inos, The Forgotten One, heard your call. He will grant you access to his eldritch chains, and in return you will dedicate your life to enforcing his justice. If you ever see injustice being done to others, you will not turn a blind eye as so many others did to you. You will do everything in your power to help those that are in need, and to punish the unjust. Inos will, be done.
Level 3: Eldritch Chains
Each chain wraps around your arms and now acts as your weapon. Your main chain has the vex weapon mastery and your secondary chain has the nick weapon mastery. Aside from weapon mastery both chains share the same stats, and as you level up in this class your chains will grow stronger. Your strength modifier is added to both chains. Below are the chains properties and how they change over time.

Level 3: Eldritch Chain Manipulations
Through Inos blessing, you gain access to powerful eldritch chains that are capable of several chain manipulations. To use these manipulations you must use your souls essence which grows stronger as you level in this class. You can use only one action/bonus action manipulation per turn and one reactionary manipulation per turn.
SAVING THROW DC = 8 + Strength Modifier + Proficiency Bonus.
Chain Manipulations: You gain the following manipulations at the level listed.
- Level 3 - Confiscation: At the beginning of an attack, you may choose to expend one point. Doing so allows you to extend that attack 30ft. the target must make a strength saving throw, If the target fails it is pulled to you and takes weapon damage, on success it only takes weapon damage. To be pulled the target must be large or smaller. At level 10 this extends up to 60ft.(Costs 1 Essence)
- Level 3 - Imprison: On a successful attack you may attempt to bind the creature hit with the attack. The creature must succeed on a strength saving throw or be restrained until the start of your next turn.(Costs 1 Essence)
- Level 5 - Chain Barrier: As a reaction you can summon 2 additional chains from your back. These chains will re-actively parry any non spell attacks made against you. When you activate this manipulation, you gain AC equal to your proficiency bonus against all non spell attacks until the beginning of your next turn. (Costs 2 Essence)
- Level 5 - Staggering Chain - On a successful attack you may attempt to trip the target. The target must succeed on a dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. The target must be large or smaller.(Costs 1 Essence)
- Level 7 - Bound Interrogation - As a bonus action you can use your chains as a form of intimidation on one target within 10ft. For one round you gain a +10 bonus to your intimidation checks against that target.(Costs 1 Essence)
- Level 7 - Soul Transfer - As an action you can wrap your chains around one willing target. You may sacrifice any amount of health, your target heals for double the sacrificed health.(Costs 3 Essence)
- Level 10 - Mass Imprison: As an action you can create a 20ft square radius within 60ft of you, where chains burst from the ground attempting to restrain everything currently in the radius as well as anything that enters or ends its turn inside the radius. All creatures must make a strength saving throw or be restrained for the duration. During the creatures turn it can use its action to make another strength saving throw to escape. The zone lasts for 30 seconds.(Costs 5 Essence)
- Level 10 - Mass Confiscation: As a bonus action chains burst from all over your body, grabbing up to 6 targets within a 60ft radius of you, and pulling them too you. All targets must make a strength saving throw or be pulled to you. All targets must be large or smaller.(Costs 3 Essence)
- Level 14 - Piercing Chains: As an action, 6 Chains burst from your body, piercing through up to 6 targets of your choice withing 60ft. Each target must make a dexterity saving throw. Each chain deals 2d10 damage. If they succeed the save, the damage is halved.(Costs 8 essence)
Level 3: Soul Essence
Soul Essence: You have soul essence equal to your fighter class level, an Essence is expended when you use it. You regain all expended Essences when you finish a Short or Long Rest.
Level 7: Greater Mobility
Through Inos and much practice you have learned to use your weapons as a form of mobility.
Grapple and Pull - As a bonus action you can use your chains to move up to 30ft instantly. There can be no obstructions between you and your destination, if you use this ability to leave the threat range of a creature, it can make an attack of opportunity against you. The range increases to 60ft at level 10.
You can also use your chains to climb quickly. Your climb speed is now equal to your movement speed.
Level 10: Empowered Chains
Your chains gain a spiked appearance, increasing their combat capabilities along with a greater reach.
Your chains also alert you when danger is near, you cannot be surprised and you have advantage on Initiative checks.
Level 15: Strengthened Soul
Through rigorous training, your soul has become stronger and more resilient. Inos also notices when you refuse to unnecessarily take a life, and rewards you when this occurs.
Any time you knock an enemy unconscious, you regain 2 soul essence.
From level 15-20 you gain 2 soul essence instead of 1.
Level 18: Soul Connection
Inos final lesson teaches you how to use your chains to connect your soul to other willing creatures. Whenever you use your second wind ability, you also help your allies to regain their composure and their strength.
When you use second wind you may also heal up to 6 other willing targets within 60ft of you for the same amount.
