Base Class: Fighter
A Trench Surgeon focus on the development of medicinal skills to aid their companions in battle and injure their foes with intent. Trench Surgeons combine training to improve their stamina with studies about herbs and practice to properly apply remedies, bandages or tourniquets. Whether inside or outside combat, Trench Surgeons move strategically through the battlefield, both helping their allies and attacking their enemies where it hurts the most.
Level 3: Mid-combat Medic
If you didn't already have it, you gain Proficiency with the Herbalism Kit and the Medicine skill.
Additionally, you can now use a Healer's Kit as a Bonus Action.
Level 3: Surgeon's Strike
As a Bonus Action, when fighting another creature that is within 30 feet, you can make a Medicine check contested against a Deception or Acrobatics check from the target. On a success, the creature has Vulnerability to all the damage caused by your next Attack that hits it within 1 hour.
Level 7: Dispatch Dash
If one of your allies is Unconscious, you can Dash towards them as a Bonus Action.
Level 10: Masks and Gloves
You can now expend one use of your Second Wind feature to cure yourself from one disease or to end the Poisoned condition.
Level 15: First Responder
Whenever one of your allies falls Unconscious within 300 feet, you can use your Reaction to move your full Speed towards them.
Level 18: Sawbones
When you succeed on the Medicine check of your Surgeon's Strike feature, the target has Vulnerability to the damage caused by all of your attacks that hit it until the end of your turn.
