Base Class: Bard
The College of Regality is a Special Bardic college for those with a royal or regal background, usually saved for Princes and Princesses to teach and prepare them for their future as royalty. Each program of the college is based off of the title given to them, Princes (Men) being taught Chivalry, Princesses being taught Dignity and Compassion, Sovereign’s (Gender Neutral) being taught a mixture of both. Usually the bardic part of this college is through giving speeches that they can give in or during a battle to either friend or foe potentially turning the tide of battle or making the enemy surrender their arms.
Level 3: Commanding Presence
You always have the Suggestion spell prepared.
In addition, you have advantage on Charisma checks while your speaking to a humanoid that’s not of noble background (IE: Guards, Farmers, Craftsmen, Shopkeepers, Soldiers, etc, etc) as long as they are not actively hostile towards you. Using this you can deceive your way out of suspicion if your believed to have committed a crime, persuade your way into potentially getting a better deal on goods and services, and get local support against an rival of yours, and/or get preferential treatment from the populace.
Level 3: Code of Conduct
You have been taught a specific code of conduct based on your royal title, they go as followed:
Chivalry
Chivalry (Princes): You gain proficiency in Medium Armor and Shields, You gain proficiency in Martial Weapons, and you get advantage on saving throws to avoid or end the frightened condition.
Dignity and Compassion
Dignity and Compassion (Princesses): You gain proficiency in Wisdom Saving Throws, You learn Healing Word, You can cast Healing Word at 1st level whenever you expend a use of your bardic inspiration die as a bonus action (it still takes up the spell slot), As a reaction you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration die to allowing someone (including yourself) to retake a failed saving throw.
Mixture
Mixture (Sovereign’s): You gain proficiency in Medium Armor and Shields, As a reaction you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration die to allowing someone (including yourself) to retake a failed saving throw, you gain proficiency in a skill of your choice.
Level 6: Battlefield Speech
As an action you can expend one use of your bardic inspiration die to give a speech to any number of creatures equal to your Charisma Modifier that can hear you.
When you do so you can choose for the speech to have the effects of either Calm Emotions or Motivational Speech on each individual creature, so you can have 2 creatures effected by the clam emotions effect, and 1 creature effected by the motivational speech effect if your Charisma modifier is +3.
Level 14: The Royal Guard
Once per long rest, as an Action, you can summon 2 spirits within 15 ft of you. both of these spirits have the Guard Captain stat block, however their Proficiency Bonus equals your own and they cannot be charmed, frightened, or petrified and are immune to levels of exhaustion.
These spirits last for 1 hour before they vanish or until killed, during this hour however they obey all of your commands (no action required) and take their turn immediately after yours serving you faithfully and without question and cannot be persuaded or deceived into betraying you.
Upon using this feature, after 1 hour you can use this feature again by expending 3 uses of your bardic inspiration die.
At 17th level you also summon 3 spirits instead of 2.
