Monk
Base Class: Monk

Masters of poetic violence and weaponized improvisation, monks who follow the Way of Wick turn the tools of their enemies into instruments of retribution. They believe that in the dance of death, every weapon is an extension of the wielder’s intent — and what better way to unmake that intent than to turn it back upon them?

Monks of this path are lightning-fast pragmatists, trained to disarm and dismantle with surgical precision. Their bodies are honed into weapons, but their minds are sharpened to see every object as a potential means to an end. A blade in the hands of an opponent becomes a lifeline severed, a loaded crossbow becomes the final punctuation in a deadly conversation. Even a simple candle, pen, or discarded bottle is an opportunity — a testament to the philosophy that anything can kill if the will is sharp enough.

The Way of Wick teaches that violence is not chaotic, but a language. Each fight is a dialogue where the monk dictates terms through brutal economy of motion. To them, victory is not just survival — it is the art of leaving no wasted breath, no superfluous movement, only the cold efficiency of a predator dismantling their prey.

Those who follow this path often appear stoic, haunted by a code they never speak aloud. They live in shadows, bound to debts that only blood can repay. Their eyes carry the weight of uncounted sins, but their hands never tremble — for they know that in their world, hesitation is death.

To face a Way of Wick monk is to realize too late that your weapon was never truly yours to begin with — only borrowed, until someone more deserving came to claim it.
