Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

The Reaper is a master of ending lives with calculated efficiency. Whether through intimidation, precision, or unrelenting focus, they walk the battlefield like a phantom—each swing of their weapon measured, final, and echoing with inevitability.

Unlike a necromancer or cleric, the Reaper doesn't command the dead. They create them.

Level 3 – Mark of the Reaper

  • Reaper’s Mark: As a bonus action, you can mark a creature you can see within 60 feet. For 1 minute, or until they drop to 0 HP or you mark another target, you gain the following benefits:

    • You deal an extra 1d4 necrotic damage to the marked target once per turn (scales to 1d6 at level 10, 1d8 at level 15).

    • If the target is frightened, stunned, or incapacitated, you may reroll 1 on your weapon damage dice once per attack against them.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all uses on a long rest.

Level 7 – Aura of Dread

  • When a creature within 10 feet of you takes damage from one of your attacks for the first time on their turn, they must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier) or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn.

  • Creatures immune to fear instead have disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the end of their next turn.

You can suppress or activate this aura as a bonus action.

Level 10 – Harvest Momentum

When a creature marked by your Reaper’s Mark drops to 0 HP, you gain the following benefits until the end of your next turn:

  • Your movement increases by 10 feet.

  • The first weapon attack you make on your turn does not consume an attack (extra attack still applies).

  • If you move at least 10 feet before making a melee attack, you gain advantage on that attack.

This effect stacks with Action Surge for devastating bursts.

Level 15 – Eyes of the Pale Moon

  • You gain darkvision out to 120 feet, and you can see invisible creatures within that range as faint silhouettes.

  • You always know if a creature is below its maximum hit points, and if a creature you can see is under 25% HP, you have advantage on all attack rolls against it.

  • Your attacks now deal an additional 1d6 cold damage against any creature under half HP.

Level 18 – Death’s Domain

As a bonus action, you enter a Reaper Stance for 1 minute. While in this stance:

  • You can mark up to 3 creatures with Reaper’s Mark at once.

  • Creatures you kill with melee attacks cannot be revived except by wish or true resurrection.

  • When a creature within 30 feet of you dies, you may move up to 15 feet as a reaction, without provoking opportunity attacks.

Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.
