Duellists excel in single combat, using their advanced skills and battle knowledge to defeat the strongest of foes .
Level 3: Duellists parry
Duellists can expend a reaction to attempt to parry a melee attack role made against them. Parry attempts must be declared before it is determined whether or not the attack has hit. On a successful parry, all damage blocks and the player receives advantage on their next melee attack role against the attacker. On a fail, the attack automatically hits and counts as a critical hit.
To determine whether or not a parry is successful, role a d20 + weapon parry modifier + weapon proficiency modifier + parry proficiency modifier - enemy weapon attack modifier. If this score is higher than the attack role made by the attacker, the parry is successful.

Level 3: Duel
When in combat you can challenge any opponent within line of site and 60ft you can use a bonus action to challenge an opponent to a duel. They must succeed a charisma saving throw of dc 15 + character level. When in a duel, any attacks made to a different entities by either side are at disadvantage, and any attacks made to either fighter from another entity is at disadvantage. If one of the duellists successfully attacks an opponent outside of the duel, or they are damaged from someone outside the duel, this ends.

Level 7: Masterful Parry
Regain a reaction every time you successfully parry an attack
Masterful duellist
When in a duel, any attacks made to the opponent in the duel gain advantage
Level 15: Superior parry
After successful parry, you can make an unarmed strike against the opponent. If the opponent has multiple attacks, the remaining attacks continue after the unarmed attack is made.
Level 18: Supreme duellist
When reducing an opponent to 0 hit points when in a duel, restore 6d6 hit points, restore movement speed to full and restore any used actions, bonus actions and reactions.
