Base Class: Barbarian
Wrestlers don’t focus as much on their weapon traditional barbarians. They instead focus on new styles of grappling to trying and get an advantage on their enemy. This style of fighting is very risky but can bring big return.
Level 3: Grand Showman
As apart of your training you become more able to guess how people react to situations, you are able to apply similar strategies with conversations. Whenever you make a charisma check you can add your strength modifier to the roll.
Level 3: Wrestler
Your techniques in grappling creatures gives you the following benefits:
- The target of your grapple can be no more than 2 sizes larger than you.
- When you grapple a creature you can choose to make you and the creature fall prone. While grappling the creature neither you or the creature can get back up.
- When you move while dragging the creature your movement speed isn’t halved, unless the creature is one or more sizes larger than you.
- When you take fall damage while grappling a creature you take half the damage you normally would while the creature takes they other half on top of their normal damage.
Level 6: Better Moves
Whenever you take the attack action while grappling a creature you can replace one of you attacks with one of the following effects, once per turn:
Body Slam: You pick up your grappled creature and slam them into the ground. When you do this you and the creature take [roll]3d6[/roll] plus your strength modifier of bludgeoning damage. When you do this both you and the creature fall prone.
Throw: You wind up and throw the creature up to a number of feet equal to 5 X your barbarian level.
Level 10: Wrestling Savant
When you grapple a creature for the first time on a turn and succeed, you can make an attack against the grappled creature. Additionally any creature you have grappled is also now restrained, until the grapple ends.
Level 14: Finishing Combo
Once per rage, while you have a target grappled you can use your action to initiate a combo. You take the attack action to attack the grappled target (you can use abilities such as action surge or the Nick weapon mastery to make extra attack before proceeding), then you use your Body Slam ability, afterward you can use your Throw ability to throw the target anywhere within range, finally any creature within 5 ft of the target can make a melee weapon attack against it (potentially including yourself).
