Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Using a longsword may seem as basic as picking a human fighter you are about to show them how wrong they are

mastercut

After training against powerful foes, you've learned how to bypass certain natural defenses of supernatural creatures

Focus training

Unlike barbarians who only use brute strength you are determined to demonstrate the fruits of your training

Improved critical

You now deal critical damage on 18-20

Techniques

After a significant amount of training, you have created several techniques that are all your own

  • Dash slash: when you move through an enemy's space with your longsword, and provoke an attack of opportunity against them, they take 5 damage.
  • Whirlwind slash: when you take the attack action with your longsword, you may forgo your extra attacks in exchange for making an attack against everyone within your threat range.
  • Speed slash: when take the attack action with your longsword, you make 2 more attack with your longsword

Grand swordmaster

You've done it. You've reach beyond where any thought possible. Your longsword gains the following benefits

  • any creature hurt by your longsword receives half healing until the start of your turn.
  • When you attack a creature that has at least one head with your longsword and roll a 20 on the attack roll, you cut off one of the creature's heads. The creature dies if it can't survive without the lost head. A creature is immune to this effect if it is immune to slashing damage, doesn't have or need a head, has legendary actions, or the GM decides that the creature is too big for its head to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d8 slashing damage from the hit.
