Base Class: Paladin
Paladins of the Grim Hunt are individuals who dedicate themselves to destroying the greatest monsters and abominations to stalk the land. They are unparalleled hunters who fight their quarry as equals: with tough hide and powerful weapons.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Slayer's Smite: You can use your channel divinity to deliver and earth shattering strike. Whenever you hit a creature with a melee attack, you may use channel divinity to use your divine smite feature without spending a spell slot. The level of the smite equals your highest level spell slot plus one, and there is no limit to the numbers of d8's that may be rolled for damage.
Wind-Backed Chase: You can use your channel divinity to grant you the speed of the wind in order to chase your target. Choose any number of creature within 30ft of you, for the next minute you and your chosen creatures movement speed is increased by 10ft.
Slayer's Equipment
Through dedication to your deity and sheer want for the hunt, you are granted the ability to bond with a weapon of your choice, a shield, or two weapons you wish.
During a long rest, you can bond with one piece of equipment at a time resulting in using your Charisma stat for your bonded weapon instead of strength or dexterity. It must be a weapon you are proficient with, regardless of weapon type.
By level 13, you can be bonded with one suit of armor as well.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Slayer's Prey
Beginning at 7th level, you have significant experience studying, tracking, hunting, and even talking to a certain type of enemy.
Choose a type of favored enemy: aberrations, beasts, celestials, constructs, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, giants, monstrosities, oozes, plants, or undead. Alternatively, you can select two races of humanoid (such as gnolls and orcs) as favored enemies.
You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track your favored enemies, as well as on Intelligence checks to recall information about them.
When you gain this feature, you also learn one language of your choice that is spoken by your favored enemies, if they speak one at all.
You choose one additional favored enemy, as well as an associated language, at 14th level. As you gain levels, your choices should reflect the types of monsters you have encountered on your adventures.
Steel Hide
Starting at 15th level, if you are dealt damage by an attack or spell made by a hostile creature, you may use your reaction to reduce the damage by an amount equal to your paladin level.
Also, when you are dealt a deadly blow, but not killed outright, you can spend this part of the ability to drop to one hit point instead.
You can only use this feature once per short rest.
Chosen Slayer
At 20th level, you can spend an action to become your own kind of monster. You gain the following benefits for 10 minutes:
- You and all your equipment become large, and your total strength score becomes 26.
- You can not be paralyzed, stunned, or charmed for the duration of this form.
- You can grapple creatures that are two size categories larger than you.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
