Monk
Base Class: Monk

A monk who follows the Way of the Ripple learns to channel their ki into a rippling force which mimics the celestial light. This allows them to augment their bodies, heal, and destroy the undead.

Sendo

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your Ki gains properties of Ripple. You can use Ripple techniques called Sendo by expending Ki Points. You gain the following Sendo techniques.

  • Healing Ripple- You can expend 2 Ki Points and use your action to touch a creature. It regains HP equal to 1d6+ your WIS modifier. This does not affect Constructs or Undead.
  • Zoom Punch- Ripple can numb your body and allow you to dislocate your joints painlessly. When you make an unarmed strike, you can expend 1 Ki Point to make the range of your unarmed strikes 10 feet until the end of your turn.
  • Ripple Infusion- You can expend 2 Ki points to infuse a nonmagical item with Ripple Energy. The next time a creature, other than yourself, touches the infused item, it will be pushed back from it 10 feet, not be able to let go of it for 1 minute, take 1d4 radiant damage, or be healed by 1d4 (not constructs or undead). You decide which effect when you infuse the item. The item loses its infusion 1 minute after you break physical contact or fall unconscious. Once the infused effect occurs, it loses it until infused again.

Ripple Overdrive

At 6th level, you gain the ability to infuse your attacks with ripple. When you hit with a melee attack with a monk weapon, you can expend 2 ki points to add 1d6 radiant damage. You can expend extra ki points to increase the damage by 1d6 for every extra ki point spent. You may only spend a number of Ki Points on this ability up to half your monk level (rounded down).

Undead Foe

The Ripple within and around your body sends bad vibrations into the rotting minds of Undead. As an action, you can expend 4 Ki Points. All Undead within 30 feet of you that can see you must make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your Ki save DC or become frightened (Ignoring immunity to fear). An Undead who succeeds is immune to the effect henceforth.

Final Hamon

When you take damage and are reduced to 0 HP, you can choose 1 creature within 20 feet of you and expend your remaining Ki Points. They can gain HP equal to a number of d6 equal to the number of Ki Points you expended and their attacks deal 2d6 extra radiant damage for 1 minute. Alternatively, they can take an amount of damage equal to a number of d6 equal to the number of Ki Points you expended, and all of its attacks are made at disadvantage for 1 minute.
