when you learn these techniques at level 3 you gain the ability to redirect blows back at foes. 

Reversal jab

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your reaction to deflect or catch the strike when you are hit with a melee weapon attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + martial arts die + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level.

If you reduce the damage to 0, you can flip the attack back at a foe. You make this attack with proficiency, regardless of your weapon proficiencies, and the deflect counts as a monk weapon for the attack, which has a range of 5 feet. 

When you reach level 5 and learn stunning strike you may apply it to this strike

Upgraded Deflect Missles

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your reaction to deflect or catch the missile when you are hit by a ranged weapon attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + martial arts die + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level.

If you reduce the damage to 0, you can catch the missile if it is small enough for you to hold in one hand and you have at least one hand free. If you catch a missile in this way, you can make a ranged attack with the weapon or piece of ammunition you just caught, as part of the same reaction. You make this attack with proficiency, regardless of your weapon proficiencies, and the missile counts as a monk weapon for the attack, which has a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet.

When you reach level 5 and you learn the stunning strike technique, this ability extends to deflect missiles as long as you don't have disadvantage on the role.

Fast Hands

If you have used your reaction you may spend a ki point to replenish your reaction. You can do this an amount of times equal to your dexterity modifier a turn.

Ki Mastery

When you are targeted by a spell attack you can use your reaction to harness the ki of a spell cast on either you or a target within 10 feet, you reduce damage of this spell, reducing it by 1d10 + martial arts die + your dexterity score + your monk level.

If this would reduce the damage to 0 you may deflect the spells effect to a target within 20 feet, long range of 60 feet. You must spend 1 ki point to deflect this energy away in this way.

This attack deals the damage or healing it would've done are transferred into Radiant damage and you can add your martial arts die. 

Quick Thinking

You can now add your wisdom score to all of your deflecting abilities. 

You may now restore your reaction an amount of times equal to your dexterity score + your wisdom score.

Improved Ki Mastery

When you use your reaction to regain ki when using your ki mastery ability. When you succesfully capture a spells ki you regain ki points equal to the spells level. The deflected energy now deals necrotic rather than radiant when you do this.

Simple Maneuver

If you're targeted by a either a melee or ranged weapon attack that has missed you you are capable of reproaching without exert. You may automatically use your deflect missiles or reversal jab without using a reaction. this attack is made with proficiency and you can add your martial arts die. 

Superior Deflection

You can spend ki points to improve your deflection prowess, you may spend an amount of ki points equal to your wisdom modifier, you can add one martial arts die to all deflection reactions per ki point spent.

your deflections can now add your wisdom modifier to the damage.
