Base Class: Fighter
Arcanus Warriors combine the protection and power of magic to fell their enemies. A trained uses eldritch trainings and the understanding of a wizard to cast spells and do arcane effects. A well trained Arcanus knight is a force to be reckoned with.
Arcanus training
You unlock the ability to cast spells at 3rd level, you also obtain the secrets of bound arms and armor.
The use of bound arms and armor is nearly exclusive to Arcanus warriors. They summon their weapons and protection as they need them. As a bonus action you may don a set of +1 of any armor or weapon you desire. This levels to +2 at 7th, and +3 at 13th levels respectively. You have resistance to force damage while wearing this armor and your weapon attacks deal force damage as well.
For your spell casting, much like a wizard you have a spell book, you follow the same rules for learning new spells as the wizard does. You also follow the wizard spell table until 7th level at which point you slow your process of gained spells.
At 10th level you gain 1 additional spell slot for 4th level spells, and gain 1 5th level spell slot.
At 13th level you gain an additional spell slot for 4th level spells and you gain 1 6th level spell slot.
At 17th level you gain an additional 5th level spell slot and gain 1 7th level spell slot.
Eldritch striking
Starting at 7th level, you gain expertise in your style of fighting with magic and weapon. Whenever you cast a spell you may use your bonus action to make 1 attack, you deal 1/2 your Arcanus warrior class level+ the spell level as additional force damage with that attack.
Arcanus Knight
At 10th level, your specific understandings of eldritch magics and it's ruinous application allows you to destroy resistances for a short time with your strikes. Whenever you strike a creature with your bound weapon, it loses its resistances until the end of your next turn. If you have struck the same creature more than once you gain advantage on subsequent attacks against that same creature.
whenever you deal force damage with a melee attack while Eldritch Striking you gain that many temporary hit points (temporary hit points do not stack!)
When donning armor you may now add resistance to one magical damage type
Eldritch dash
Starting at 15th level, you may charge forward with eldritch energy and slam into a target in 15 feet. If successful the target takes 1 additional damage die of your weapon and must make strength saving throw equal to your 8 +strength or intelligence mod +proficiency mod or be knocked prone.
You may now summon both arms and armor with the same bonus action and have them both sustained at once
Eldritch barrier
At 18th level, you learn to react with speed and haste. At the start of combat a shield spell automatically activates on you and your base walking speed doubles. You also unlock the ability to cast shield with a range of touch.
