Base Class: Monk
The Way of the Spellsunders specialise in countering and defeating spellcasters. Monks who follow this tradition wield daggers, which they use to strike at the very fabric of magic and strip it from their foes. They meditate to see past their enemies' defences, and they use their adrenaline to counter attacks. (Inspired by Guild Wars 2's Warrior elite specialisation, the Spellbreaker)
Full Counter
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you may focus your ki to counter an attack that affects you.
As a reaction when you take damage and you can see the attacker, you may spend 1 ki point to Full Counter. Roll a d6, on a 1, the damage proceeds as normal. On a 2-5, you give yourself resistance to all of the triggering damage until the start of your next turn and the attacker takes the same damage you did. On a 6, you give yourself immunity to all of the triggering damage until the start of you next turn, the attacker takes all the damage you would've taken, and every creature within 10 feet of you take half the damage the attacker took. Any creature that is concentrating on a spell and who took damage from your Full Counter has disadvantage on the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration.
You may use this ability only when you have a dagger equipped and you can use it a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier. Uses of this feature recharge on a long rest.
Superior Daggers
Starting at 3rd level, you gain mastery over daggers. When you take the Attack action on your turn and attack with a dagger, you can make one attack as bonus action with a dagger you are wielding with your off-hand. For example, if you take the Attack action and attack with a main-hand dagger, you can also make an attack as a bonus action with a dagger in your off-hand, assuming you haven't already taken a bonus action this turn. (This attack still uses your ability modifier like your main-hand strike, not following the Two-Weapon Fighting rules)
Strike the Weave
At 6th level, you learn to cut the fabric of magic away from your foes. When you hit with an attack with a dagger, you can spend 2 ki points to cast dispel magic on the target of your attack.
Improved Critical
At 6th level, you learn to precisely strike your enemy in places that hurt most. Your dagger attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Sight Beyond Sight
At 11th level, you can meditate to sense the ki around you and it's weakest spots. As an action, you gain truesight up to a range of 120 feet until the end of your next turn. Additionally, your next dagger attack against anyone that you originally saw with your truesight is a critical hit. You may use this ability once per short rest.
Revenge Counter
At 17th level, your Full Counter becomes more potent. When you roll a 6, the attacker takes double the damage you would've taken instead of all the damage and all hostile creatures within 10 feet of you take all the damage you would've taken instead of half the damage. Additionally, whenever your Full Counter roll succeeds (2-6) you may spend 3 ki points to transfer an active condition on you to them. You may transfer a different condition to a different enemy hit by spending 3 more ki points per enemy.
