Base Class: Monk

The subclass for Ana is a combination of the Way of the Sun Soul and the Way of Mercy subclasses for monk. It basically allows you to use Hands of Healing/Harm from the Way of Mercy subclass from afar by combining it with the Radiant Sun Bolt feature from the Way of the Sun Soul subclass. I also added in the Nano Boost (Ana's Ultimate) as a level 17 feature. Hopefully the subclass works well, and isn't too weak/strong. Enjoy!

Tranquilizer Darts

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can hurl searing bolts of magical radiance.

You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. This special attack is a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity modifier to its attack and damage rolls. Its damage is necrotic, and its damage die is a d4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.

When you take the Attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you can spend 1 ki point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action.

When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.

 

Caring Assassin

 At 6th, your tranquilizer darts have transformed into a force for healing and harming.

When you hit an enemy with a tranquilizer dart, you may spend 1 ki point to deal extra necrotic damage equal to one roll of your martial arts die + your wisdom modifier.

When you hit an ally with your tranquilizer darts, they restore a number of hit points equal to one roll of your martial arts die + you wisdom modifier.

 

Biotic Grenade

 At 11th level, you gain the ability to create an orb of light that erupts into a devastating explosion. As an action, you may spend 2 ki points to magically create an orb and hurl it at a point you choose within 150 feet, where it erupts into a cloud of chemical gas for a brief instant.

For each creature within 20 ft. of that point, choose healing or harming. The healing options heals as if they were an ally hit with your tranquilizer darts, and the harming option deals damage as if they were hit with your tranquilizer darts combined with the bonus damage option from your Caring Assassin feature.

Nano Boost

 

At the 17th level, you have found a way to incorporate enhancement nano-technology into your tranquilizer darts.

Instead of healing an ally hit with your tranquilizer darts, you may spend 1 ki point to give them a boost that lasts for 20 seconds. A boosted ally can roll a d6 once whenever they make a saving throw, ability check, attack roll, or damage roll, and add the sum of the results. An single ally may not be boosted more than once per short rest. You may only use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. You regain all expended uses after a long rest.
