Base Class: Bard

The Ace Of Cards uses a real world deck of playing cards to augment their spell casting and gain abilities.   The player gets a number of cards determined by the characters class level.  This card gives a added modifier to a roll or a healing effect for the cost of a bonus action.  When this modifier is used this card is considered "Burned" and is removed from the deck until after a long rest is taken.  The player can burn any exposed card as a free action and get a replacement by burning three card from the deck as a bonus action.  The player can also burn cards to have boost spell casting and gain other advantages.

Deck of Bonuses

When you join the College of Lore at 3rd level, the character gets at real life and in game deck that gives the character bonuses based on the suit of the card that is currently drawn.  The character can only have 1 active card drawn at level 3.  At level 5 this goes up to 2, at 10 it becomes 3, and reaching it's maximum at 4 at level 15.  This allows the following bonus actions

Use Card to Scry: For the cost of an action the character can burn one card to leave it behind in the world. For up to 16 hours the player can see and hear everything within 30ft of the card. This card can also be used like to the alarm spell.

Replace Card: The player can replace one of the currently active cards for the cost of a bonus action and the burning of three cards.

Use a Active Bonus Card:  At first level the player can add 1/4 of a cards value (minimum of 1) to a roll or heal a creature within 20 ft the amount determined by the suit of the card for the cost of a bonus action.

Hearts: heal a target within 20 ft

Clubs: Attack Roll

Spades: Saving throws

Diamonds: Skill Rolls 

At 5th level this increases to 1/2, and at 10th level the cards value is added.

Cards of Power

The character can gain temporary spell slots that only last one turn for the cost of the burning 3 times the level of the spell slot in cards.  The spell slot must be one that is available to the character.

Fast Shuffle

At 6th level, For the cost of an action Once per long rest the player can replace a card that is out with a new card and reshuffle the old card back into the deck.  The player gains another use of this ability at level 12.

The Full House Effect

Starting at 14th level, the player can gain the benefit of multiple active cards of the same suit at once.  All cards are burned as normal.
