Monk
Base Class: Monk

Those who worship the mystical force known as the Iris learn to see the forces of peace and chaos in all living things and use this to heal or harm creatures in aid of keeping the balance, believing achieving this balance will release them from the shackles of a physical form. They act mostly as healers and advocates of peace but their strength should not be underestimated.
The Iris is a mysterious force of souls. Little is known of what it truly is but its first teachings state that true self is without form and that ones physical body are only a means of expressing ones self. Followers devote their entire lives to achieve enlightenment and transcend their physical bodies.

Orbs of the Iris

Beginning at 3rd level when you pick this monastic tradition, you harness the power the Iris through magical orbs fuelled by your ki that act as an extension of your body. The appearance of these orbs and where they reside on your person is up to you. You can use these orbs in several ways.

Orb of Destruction: The orbs act as an extension of your body. Your unarmed strikes have a range of 30 ft. and you can use your wisdom modifier in place of your dexterity modifier.

Orb of Harmony: You learn to enhance the peace within all creatures through the power of your orbs. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to send an orb to a creature who you can see within 30ft. and the orb stays there for up to 1 minute, until you send another orb to another creature or until your concentration is broken as if you were concentrating on a spell. After first using this and at the beginning the creatures turn, the creature regains hit points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die + your WIS modifier (minimum of 1). The number of orbs you can send. You cannot have more than one orb active on one creature at a time,

Orb of Discord: You learn to enhance the chaos within all creatures through the power of your orbs. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to send an orb to a creature you can see and is not incapacitated within 30ft. and the orb stays there for up to 1 minute, until you send another orb to another creature or until your concentration is broken as if you were concentrating on a spell. Whilst the orb is active, attacks against the creature deal extra damage equal to your WIS modifier. You cannot have more than one orb active on one creature at a time,

You can have 2 orbs active of any combination. For example, you can have 2 orbs of harmony active, or 1 orb of harmony and 1 orb of discord. This increases as your monk level increases (3 orbs at 5th, 4 orbs at 10th, 5 orbs at 14th and 6 orbs at 18th).  If you attempt to send out more orbs than you can have active at any time, you can choose which orb to replace. They are considered as a single concentration for the purpose of concentration checks.

State of Serenity

Beginning at 6th level, the balance of your soul allows you to heal your wounds when you enter a moment of peace after conflict. When you leave initiative, you regain hit points equal to 1 Martial Arts die + your WIS modifier if you are conscious.

Enlightened Step

Beginning at 11th level, you gain a flying speed of 30ft. and can hover.

Transcendence

Beginning at 17th level, you have gazed into the Iris and achieved mastery over your soul. As an action, you can spend 8 ki points and enter a state of transcendence that lasts for 1 minute.  During this state you can take no other actions or reactions besides the Dash action and can only move up to your movement on your turn. Additionally, you ignore difficult terrain, any status condition inflicted upon you are ended and you become immune to all conditions and all damage and you shed magical bright light in 30ft.

On activation, you can choose a number of creatures (including yourself) you can see within 30ft. to heal 3d10 + your WIS modifier. Any creature of your choice you can see that moves within the 30ft radius for the first time after activation and that you can see in the radius at the start of your turn is healed by 2d12 + your WIS modifier (minimum of 1).  You cannot use this feature again until after you finish a long rest. At 20th level, you can use this feature twice before needing a long rest.
