Base Class: Monk
Having trained deep in Thailand you are a master of having your body become a weapon utilizing different styles to best your opponent. Battle-tested and hardened no opponent scares you no matter how great. Respect is in your nature but in the end you exist to protect those that you care about most by any means necessary, usually ending in the bloodshed of anyone who stands in your way.
Art of 8 Limbs
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can take advantage of your opponent's weaknesses with your style knowledge. You may sacrifice your bonus action on your turn and spend 1 ki point to choose one of the following after you make an unarmed strike as your action:
- Muay Mat. You shrug off incoming attacks and deal devastating punches to your opponent's face. They must succeed a Dexterity saving throw or be blinded by the swelling blinded.
- Muay Khao. You lock up your opponent directly in front of you in your deadly clinch, pummeling them with knees. Opponent must succeed a Strength saving throw or become grappled by you. Any time the grappled creature tries to break free or attack you you may make an unarmed strike as a bonus action.
- Muay Tae. Your devastating kicks rain down on your opponent, breaking their body and their spirit. They must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become weakened. Whenever the opponent makes a weapon attack roll your unarmed strike die and reduce the damage of the attack by the total rolled. This dice roll includes your modifier.
Body Conditioning
At 6th level, your hardened body shrugs off any attack that comes your way. As an action, you can reduce incoming weapon attack damage equal to three times your monk level. Once depleted you must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.
Champion's Reflexes
Beginning at 11th level, your fight experience grows so great your reflexes are heightened to a new degree enabling you brush off attacks. You can cast the spell shield at will 3 times per long rest.
Muay Femur
At 17th level, you embrace the final style and become fully in tune with your skillset embodying the gracefulness of Muay Thai. As an action, you can spend 3 ki points to completely outmatch your opponent. You use the sharpest parts of your body to inflict maximum damage. When you use this action, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, it is reduced to 0 hit points. If it succeeds, it takes 10d10 force damage.
Using this action consumes your bonus action.

Posted Mar 15, 2023Body Conditioning seems like it may be a little OP, that's potentially 60 damage negated at level 20. stead rolling a dice to reduce damage, like Theros's Unscarred Resilience.
-Unscarred Resilience. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d12. Add your Constitution modifier to the number rolled, and reduce the damage by that total. After you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
You can lower the die and make it a die pool. So you can roll a 1d6 using up to the number of die equal to your proficiency bonus. (adds some chance and lowers the max possible to 36 damage)
Muay Femur seems like a bit OP also, its a 1 hit kill move. Although CON is the most commonly resisted this is a bit much. Perhaps use a qualifier like, a creature of CR ___ and below will be reduced to 0 on a failed save or take ___ damage. With it being able to be used without restriction that's up to 6 times in a fight, not counting recovery of ki points. That's enough to overcome any legendary resistance from legendary monsters. Con throw lacks a DC so if it is a contested throw Monk could jack up their CON to make even CR 30 mobs have a decent chance of losing.
