The power of the Abyss flows through you, granting you the ability to tear rifts in reality itself. By summoning these rifts, you can choose to either enhance your mobility and that of your allies, unleash devastating demonic attacks, or provide a defensive safeguard in battle.


Abyssal Rift:

You can open a rift in the fabric of reality at a point within 30 feet of you, lasting for 1 minute. When you summon this rift, choose one of the following options:


1. Rift of Relocation

  • Effect: You can use an action to open a rift within 30 feet of you. This rift allows any willing creature that you allow to enter it will be teleported up to 500 feet away to an unoccupied space that you can see or a location you are familiar with. The rift remains open for 1 minute, allowing multiple creatures to use it during that time.
  • Usage: This option can be used once per short rest.

2.Demonic Assault

  • Effect: You can use an action to summon a rift within 30 feet of you that unleashes one of the following demonic attacks. You must choose which demonic attack to use when you summon the rift. The attack affects all creatures within a 15-foot cone from the rift. The rift remains open for 1 minute, but only releases one demonic attack per summon.

Demonic Attack Options:

  • Infernal Blaze

  • Description: A torrent of hellfire erupts from the rift, scorching everything in its path. 
    Effect: Each creature in the area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d6 fire damage and is Blinded until your next. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not blinded. 

  •  Abyssal Chains

  • Description: Chains of shadowy energy lash out from the rift, attempting to ensnare all within reach.
  • Effect: Each creature in the area must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 3d6 necrotic damage and is Restrained until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not restrained.

  • Plague of Decay

  • Description: A wave of necrotic energy surges forth from the rift, causing the flesh of those caught in it to wither. 
  • Effect: Each creature in the area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d6 necrotic damage and is Poisoned for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not poisoned.
  • Usage: This option can be used twice per short rest.


3. Rift of Deflection

  • Effect: When you or an ally within 60 feet of you is targeted by an attack, you can use your reaction to summon a rift in front of the target, diverting the attack. The attacker must reroll their attack roll against another creature of your choice within 60 feet of the attacker, and the new target takes the damage and effects if hit.Usage: This option can be used twice per short rest.

4. Riftwalk

  • Effect: You can use a bonus action to infuse yourself with the energy of the rift. For the next minute, you can teleport up to 50 feet to an unoccupied space you can see as a bonus action on each of your turns. This teleportation does not provoke opportunity attacks.
  • Usage: This option can be used once per short rest.
