Prerequisite: Paladin
Prerequisite: Must have a connection to the Nameless One (character-specific)
You have learned to draw upon the terrible power granted by the Nameless One, not as a puppet—but as a weapon of your will.
Divine Wrath Activation
- Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you may enter Divine Wrath for 5 rounds by accepting the first boon from the Nameless One
- Upon activation, you automatically gain Boon 1 and must immediately make a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw to maintain control
- While active, you also gain:
- When you drop to 0 hit points, you heal 30 hit points and don't fall unconscious
- End Effect: Make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On failure: take 2d10 psychic damage and gain 1 level of exhaustion
Additional Boons
After activation, you can accept further escalating boons from the Nameless One. Each additional boon increases the Wisdom save DC to maintain control by 3.
Accepting Additional Boons requires:
- An action or bonus action
- Either offering a trapped soul from your weapon OR slaying a creature during this turn
- Can only accept one additional boon per turn
Boon Progression
Automatic on Activation:
- Boon 1 (DC 10): Enhanced might - add +1d6 to all Strength-based attack rolls and Strength checks
Additional Boons (Optional):
- Boon 2 (DC 13): Supernatural resilience - resistance to all nonmagical damage
- Boon 3 (DC 16): Relentless fury - gain one additional attack when you take the Attack action
- Boon 4 (DC 19): Regenerative wrath - gain 2d8 temporary hit points at the start of each turn
- Boon 5 (DC 22): Transcendent control - immunity to death effects and damage cannot reduce you below 1 hit point
Control Checks
- Make a Wisdom saving throw at the end of each turn where you have active boons
- Success: Maintain control, effects continue
- Failure: The Nameless One seizes control until Divine Wrath ends
Loss of Control Effects
When you lose control:
- You are immune to death effects and damage cannot reduce you below 1 hit point
- You are compelled to attack the nearest creature (ally or enemy) each turn
- You must move toward and attack the closest creature you can see
- You can't cast spells, use magic items, or take any action other than Attack, Dash, or Dodge
- Other creatures can attempt to restrain or grapple you normally
