Prerequisite: Melee weapon only
A reckless attack made out of desperation. Throwing everything into the next attacks, if they hit can cause huge but leaving yourself vulnerable.
Passive +1 STR
Can only be used once per long rest.
This effects all your attacks during this round.
If it hits, your attack automatically criticals.
Until your next turn, any attack has advantage against you.

Posted Aug 17, 2018This is just a better version of the Reckless Attack from Barbarian. Not to mention that, but it is far too strong. This on a fighter means at lv 20, 8-9 attacks will all critically hit with whatever other effects they might possess. With a paladin, 2 lv 5 smites and possibly a lv 4 smite, and add a single spell-smite to it. With rogues, 20d6+weapon.
You see where I'm going.
This is stepping on the toes of a main class ability and it's OP as can be. My suggestion is to scrap it.

Posted Aug 18, 2018I agree with Drake, this is far too powerful and the design seems to just be a (much) better Reckless Attack.
Additionally, I don't really see what work this feat is doing other than just being "powerful." What role does this feat play? What gap do you see in the feat list that this feat fills? Dealing extra damage with a melee weapon is already available with Great Weapon Master (for a cost in accuracy), or Savage Attacker (for a cost in consistency), or—by taking 2 levels of Barbarian—Reckless Attack (for a cost in defense).
I think a homebrew feat needs to establish necessity, before you start building mechanics, and I don't see anything that makes this a necessary addition.

How do I remove/ edit this? I cannot seem to find a way to do so.

Posted Apr 9, 2020You could merely make this an action thus only one attack per round and remove the strength mod then it is relatively balanced.

Posted Feb 28, 2022Would you care to explain what passive strength does?

Posted Jun 29, 2022It's just increasing strength. They called it passive because the rest of the feat is an active ability.
