Prerequisite: Gnome (deep gnome)
You have inherited the innate spellcasting ability of your ancestors. This ability allows you to cast nondetection on yourself at will, without needing a material component. You can also cast each of the following spells once with this ability: blindness/deafness, blur, and disguise self. You regain the ability to cast these spells when you finish a long rest.
Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells, and you cast them at their lowest possible levels.

Posted Jan 12, 2019This feat has really good synergy with Deep Gnome Abjuration wizards. Nondetection at will can bring your Arcane Ward back up to full by casting it over and over (out of combat of course).

Posted Jun 5, 2019Does casting Blur, Blindness/Deafness, and Disguise Self involve checking off one of your spell slots? Or are these spells separate from your list of prepared spells???

Posted Jul 16, 2019doesn't use your spell slots Lord Henry. They're once per long rest, and instead of clicking the CAST button on DNDBEYOND, which automatically uses a slot, it's a USE button.

Posted Nov 20, 2020I have actually made a build like this and I agree that this is quite powerful, but the cool thing is that is not the entire feat and blur helps with your survivability too

Posted Mar 11, 2021I don't know why Deep Gnomes should not get this as a part of their race. It does not make sense. It is part of who they are.

Posted Apr 16, 2021I don’t believe that to be the case. I feel that just pushes deep gnome to be the objective ‘correct’ choice when playing a gnome, let alone a martial character looking for a pinch of spellcasting. Being innately able to cast a 3rd level spell (albeit, only on yourself) and two 2nd level spells from level 1 inherently breaks the symmetry of the game, even if only in a somewhat niche fashion.

Posted Nov 28, 2021My understanding is, these are inherent traits and do not require spell slots.

Posted Apr 13, 2022One of the characters in my campaign has this when they are not meant to, and I have no idea how to remove it.
They are a homebrew race, and I have 2 other players with the same homebrew race that do not have this racial feat, I am so confused.
