Due to your blindness, you have become adept at navigating the world without sight. A Blind Adept may use smell to recognize individuals, echolocation to move without hindrance, and may even be able to perceive the slight variations in air currents around them to sense the presence of other creatures. You gain the following benefits:

  • You are vulnerable to Thunder damage
  • You have Advantage on Ability Checks that rely on sound, smell, taste or touch.
  • If you are deafened, all of the effects of the Blinded condition work just as described: All attack rolls against you have advantage, and your attack rolls have disadvantage.
  • You permanently have the Blinded condition, but attack rolls against you only have advantage when ranged. Your attack rolls still have disadvantage.
  • Blindsight: As an Action you push your other senses beyond their normal limits. You gain Blindsight out to a range of 30 feet for 1 minute. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn’t behind total cover. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you. You can use an Action to increase the range of this ability by 30 feet. You can use this option once per long rest.

  • Be my Eyes: You can use your action to touch a willing humanoid and perceive through its senses until the end of your next turn. As long as the creature is on the same plane of existence as you, you can use your action on subsequent turns to maintain this connection, extending the duration until the end of your next turn. While perceiving through the other creature’s senses, you benefit from any special senses possessed by that creature, and you are blinded and deafened to your own surroundings.
