Hey, trying to create a homebrewed monster (as a Tasha's Sidekick) and the base creature has a -3 modifier for Intelligence and I want to give it proficiency in Investigation but the skill bonus field cannot accept negative values. In this case I would expect a level 1 Sidekick to have a +2 proficiency bonus, and their base Investigation skill would be -3 bringing the total to -1. There is a workaround (here) but this still doesn't display the skill correctly. It shows +-1 when it should just show -1. I know mathematically they are the same, but it is still very confusing.
Is there any fix coming for this? Or improved support/implementation for creating Sidekicks?
