I'm trying to get a weapon in homebrew to do an extra 1d8 atop its normal damage, but setting a damage modifier for a d8 isn't doing anything to change the displayed damage on the item. Either this is broken, or I'm doing it wrong.

Currently the space available means that it doesn't show the additional damage.

Bump. Still doesn't work. What's the point of rolling on-screen dice for damage if the item's damage doesn't update? Dagger (1d4 +) that does another d4 of cold damage on a hit. Not reflected on the character
