In the 2018 errata on the PHB, the Shove action was updated with the following:
Shoving a Creature (p. 196). In the last sentence of the second paragraph, “If you win the contest,” has been changed to “You succeed automatically if the target is incapacitated. If you succeed,”
While this has been updated in the PHB on DnDBeyond, it has not yet been updated on the character sheet. Clicking on the Shove action will show you the old text ("If you win the contest, you either knock the target prone or push it 5 feet away from you.").
I had used that as a reference before, and was caught quite off-guard in my campaign's finale when my players started pushing enemies into the lava, no contest, after the monk stunned them.
