Currently fiddling with some homebrew race options and felt happy with what I had. After submitting for review, I realized that it wasn't sufficient to credit and link to artists' work used in the homebrew - which makes perfect sense, I should have realized that in the first place.
So now I'm trying to remove said images and I'm realizing there isn't an apparent way to do so. All that exists is the "Choose File" button to select a file for large and portrait avatars. I'd really like to not have to recreate each of my homebrew options from scratch, so does anyone know of a workaround or a bug fix in the works? I'm considering just creating a single pixel file to upload, but I'm worried it will cause separate issues. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Thanks so much for the quick reply. I figured this might be the case. I'll go with the 1x1 image solution for now. Unfortunately free use images for centaurs are preeeeeetty bad hahaha. Really I should just draw something up myself eventually, but I'll keep my eye on the forums and update videos for the future. Thanks again!
Man 2 years and still no functionality for this. i dont know who is doing the coding for this product but they are laaaaaaZY. could be done in the same time as a lunch break lol

I wouldn't presume laziness, just maybe the fact that making changes to the existing homebrew system is of a lower priority than making sure these features are present in the homebrew overhaul that's on the roadmap.
I'm not sure why its so hard compared to all other functional features. Most websites have no problem adding a remove button to images, and its clearly not as needed in order to approve of homebrew publishing.
Eh... one year and a half from the last post, still no 'remove image' option, lol. No more "Labelled for reuse" button on google either. I suppose CC would do, not sure how attributing the image would work though. Maybe just a comment on the writeup?
It is 2022, and there's still no button to remove images on homebrew spells. It's present elsewhere, why not here? I didn't know this was an issue until just now
This seriously seems to have become endemic to the whole "homebrew roadmap" nonsense. We've been hearing about a massive homebrew overhaul for like 4 years now and ...nada. Which never ceases to surprise me since literally everyone I know plays *mostly* homebrew and just a cursory glance at the homebrew lists seems to indicate there is a massive desire for more homebrew functionality, but I've basically just resigned myself to the fact that either no one is actually paying attention or DnD Beyond just does not care.

Uploading a1x1 image is the best solution we currently have unfortunately.
You could search google for an appropriate replacement image, using the "Usage Rights" tool set to "Labeled for reuse" or "noncommercial reuse"

2 years later. Can we get a "Remove Image" button next to the "Choose File" button?
JKJ
This would be very nice.

You can strip images by making a new copy of an item.

Yes, can we PLEASE get a "remove image" option!

Anyway, using a small, blank image works.
Is this still the case? And if yes, is there a way to get the icons D&D Beyond uses?
Almost 2022 come on guys
