I've honestly even tracked death on the character sheet all the way and didn't know there were resurrection options that popped up (and they are not even needed anyway since normal healing still works).
This is something that might not even need to be fixed, and certainly isn't high priority (considering features and rules that are actually unsupported as opposed to just requiring an additional second of clicking).
I'll also say, the death functionality exists. If you know that you've been killed outright you can simply mark all three of the failed death saves and voila your character is dead.
If a pc has max hp of 20 hp and they take 100hp of damage. They should be dead. dndbeyond puts them in death saves instead?
