This happens every time without fail across multiple different devices and accounts. Me or one of my friends try to make a character and everything goes fine until the ability scores. When we roll the scores there's always one normally randomised number and then the rest are all 18s. Now for a player, this seems amazing, but then the DM has to deal with hugely overpowered characters. This glitch is not only on the character creator though, it's on the sheets as well. I had one player who was continuously rolling 9 in combat and just couldn't hit an enemy, I think it was a 9 at least 6 times in a row probably more before we stopped trying. Even just before writing this I checked on one of my characters just to be sure that the glitch was still there and it was, I rolled 4 after 4 after 4. I don't know what this is but it's ruining my friends and I's usage of D&D Beyond because it is just so annoying. Anyway, I'd love if someone could tell me if I'm doing something wrong or if there is a way to fix this.
I just created a characted and rolling for stats got nothing higher than a 16. If this was widespread it would be very quickly noticed and lots of people would be complaining. Either you and your friends devices have all been infected with a virus which takes you to a spoof website whenevever you go to DnDBeyond or you are grossly exaggering the extremity of your dice rolls.
This has been an issue with some other people. Are you useing any browser extensions like Roll20 or something that might be interfacing with dndbeyond?

Not that I know of.
All 18s. This is BS, but I can live with that. I streamed it to a friend to prove it, so I guess it’s fine.
