I'm making a subclass currently for monk that is very intensive on your CON modifier, and so it gives you a large bonus to it. I would like know if its possible to change out the Monk Unarmored Defense (WIS+DEX) into the Barbarian Unarmored Defense (CON+DEX). I know I can just add it, but is there a setting to suppress the normal monk unarmored AC that doesn't involve me going into character sheets and manually adjusting each person's AC?
All I can see is a 'Replace Damage' feature, but nothing that flat out negates it. Another way around, is there a possibility to make it so your Unarmored Defense has a modifier to it that subtracts your wisdom score? Essentially doing the same thing I want, but i cant figure out how to do that either.
the homebrew tools to not currently allow you to change features of core classes, only define features of the subclass.
However, as you noted, you can add a feature for the new armor calculation and, if it results in a higher AC than the normal monk unarmored defense, then your new feature would be used to define the character's AC instead.
I've noticed that, but they would seem to stack on top of eachother. Here is an example, showing both Unarmored Defenses stacking. If it was just higher one taking precedence, that would be fine, but is there any way to make them not stack?
Actually, I've just found out how to do it. I used the Set modifier to set my Unarmored Defense AC to CON, and that seemed to do the trick. I appreciate your guys' help and insight with this problem, thanks a ton!

I think there is a "replace feature" option somewhere, I haven't tried before.

Upon looking, I can't find what I was thinking of.

When trying to do this it still stacks con and dex. For me at least.
Although I am trying to do this for a warlock so slightly different dealio.
As Stormknight noted: "the homebrew tools to not currently allow you to change features of core classes, only define features of the subclass."
Warlocks will need to remain warlocks, then allowing for customization. Locking this thread as it has aged.
