I was a subscriber then unsubbed but had made more characters than the free 6. As I'm now a general non-subscriber user, I only have 6 slots.
When I go to "My Characters" - It asks me to select 6 characters to activate/deactivate. Once I select them though, there's nothing else to click. I can just toggle them selected/deselected, but I can't do anything after that.
As I can't get past that, I can't create a new character.
Are you saying that you can not delete your characters only toggle activate or deactivate?
Alternatively are you saying you want to be able to create new characters when you are already over the limit for unsubbed users. If that is the cast I think you have to either get down to 5 characters in order to create a 6th or you will have to re-sub.
Yeah it's kinda hard to explain, but the problem is I can't delete characters. I am in the character screen, it says "You have exceeded slots, you need to choose who you want to activate/deactivate"
But I can't actually make any selections. There's no way to choose anything. It just tells me to choose but nothing on the page let's me do anything. It's quite frustrating.
Once you selected 6 characters look for a tine arrow ( I think at the bottom right) and click it to continue. Had the same problem the other day and I spotted it by mere coincidence. Honestly, whoever is in charge of designing the site needs to get his/hers shit together.
I can't find this arrow and it's driving me crazy. I'm trying to delete a few characters so I can join a new campaign and it won't let me til I select characters to keep active and I can't get past this page!
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to find this arrow?
1. Highlight your entire screen by click + dragging the cursor or doing a Ctrl+a 2. Increase your screen magnification by doing Ctrl + mousewheel or Ctrl + + 3. This caused the continue button to show up for me in the bottom right hand corner, along with a 6/6 selected message.
Unfortunately I didn't get a screenshot but hopefully this helps. Keep in mind that there is no way - as far as I can tell - to deactivate characters after this step, so if you don't want to delete them from your stable of 6 to make room, be sure to not select them.
Once you have selected 6 characters, If you are unable to see the continue button try zooming in and out on the page. For me I had to zoom in to make the continue button show up in the bottom right of my screen.
This is the stupidest solution I've ever seen to what should be a very simple problem. I don't how you figured this out, but thank you so much for doing it!
Everyone might have solved this one already but it seems that the resolution on the screen is the issue, just try zooming in to the page and you will see: selected x/x continue
I had to zoom in to 150% and I could see it, this website honestly seems like a student project that never got finished

I am not sur ewhat you are asking here.

Because you character slots are full you can subscribe to them which is a payed subscription.
Having the same issue but we cannot find the tiny arrow ☹️
I opened the developer tools for the website and it helped me find the continue button.

+1. I also cannot move to the next step after selecting characters.
Actually, just found a solution.
1. Highlight your entire screen by click + dragging the cursor or doing a Ctrl+a
2. Increase your screen magnification by doing Ctrl + mousewheel or Ctrl + +
3. This caused the continue button to show up for me in the bottom right hand corner, along with a 6/6 selected message.

This worked!! Thank you so much!
