Martial Arts. We don't have a method of disambiguating the Martial Arts granted by the 2014 Monk and the one from the 2024 Monk. As such, all Monks will temporarily match the 2024 Monk's Martial Arts Die until we’re able to fix this.

I'm confused as to why somebody is complaining about something that is a good thing. I get that it might be a bug but it is certainly a welcome improvement.

I think it’s reasonable for people who are playing with the 2014 rules to expect that their character sheets won’t suddenly change to reflect one (but not every) aspect of the 2024 rules, especially since that’s something D&D Beyond said would not happen.
My table has pretty universally decided that we're not switching to 2024. There weren't nearly enough interesting changes and many classes ended up worse (Paladin). I was planning on playing a Monk but this bug has really thrown a spanner in the works. DnD Beyond is on the verge of being unusable to those of us sticking with 2014.
I've spent a lot of money buying books on here, only to now have them pushed to the bottom of every list under the name "legacy" and in some instances like this one now not even be able to access that content through the interfact.
Why couldn't they just have created a new website "dndbeyond24" or something and kept this site for 5e?
I suppose if you really want to play an underpowered version of monk, you can go ahead and do it. True you have to do some mental mah and remember that your damage die is always going to be worse than what is on the sheet. I'm actually surprised that 2014 monk players avoided using shortswords or staves or unarmed fighting style on purpose so they could do 1d4 damage.
Considering that that is the only difference on the character sheet most wouldn't consider it a big deal.

2014 monk has 2024 monk martial arts die.
This is a known issue that many people have reported, but D&D Beyond has not fixed yet, nor offered any timeframe for when it might be fixed.

As a tip, maybe check pinned threads. For example, the pinned thread Player’s Handbook - Issues and Support Thread already covers this in Post 1.
