I have created a Race with a limited use action. The number of uses increases with character level. But as soon as I click the second use I always get an error and the usage is stored.

Refreshing does not help. Resetting (short rest) does not help.
Level 1: 1 use     => works
Level 2: 2 uses   => error on second use
...
Level 12: 6 uses => error on second use

Devs generally don't post on the status of bugs. Bug fixes can take days, weeks, months or even years based on where they fall in terms of priority.

I was affraid of that ... being a devops developer myself my team learned quickly that communication on these things is key for customer satisfaction. I can understan fixing a bug like this is not on the top of the priority list, but having a rough idea or acknowledgement the bug is registered, would be nice.

I'm in QA, so I know that while communication can be beneficial, it can also be a double edged sword. Interacting with users on bug status beyond "this has been noted" can create assumptions. Considering you only posted a week or so ago, it's likely that a mod or staff member might simply have not seen this thread yet as part of their pass of the forums.

Remember that usually bugs reported this way, through social media, need to trickle down through social teams, to staff, to devs. That takes time.

I'm happy with a "this has been noted" :D

You can judge better than I can ... I've only worked with internal users within a company, not with customers on the Wild Wild Web ;)

Gpyromania, your suggestion did not work. It has the same issue.  I called it Life Essence, in order to keep the original Essence without too much confusion.

I get the error in the new limited use action, as well as the original one I designed first.

I now also tried it with 2 uses at level 1, and then first upgrade to 3 uses at level 3 (in Air Elemental attunement) - the first and second use do not give the error, the 3rd use gives the same error as mentioned.
