Hi, I'm trying to re-create Matt Mercer's Gunslinger class and struggling with the limited use section. I understand we do not have the ability to set a limited use based on a stat modifier, which I can work around, however, no matter what I try, nothing is actually showing in the limited use section.
Obviously I can just use an item to handle this if necessary, but I'd like it to be in the same section as the other abilities. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Edit: It seems I have found the issue. I was not selecting the "Activation type". Choosing No Action has got them to show up :)
Quickdraw doesn't add proficiency bonus, just a straight +2 (at least, the version I am using is only +2). This can be managed easily using a bonus to initiative.
I'm surprised it's only 4. Fortunately I am aware of the rules on publishing, this will just be for my campaign use as one of my players had to be all awkward and use home-brewed content. He is however, glad he can join the rest of us in the digital age now. Keep up the good work with the moderating :)

I'm reading over 1.3 and it says add proficiency. I redownloaded it when the latest revision came out last week.
I may have to make it something in the background at various levels just to add another +1 whenever the proficiency goes up. At least until the Character Sheet revamp comes out and the dynamic modifier formulas are active.
Also, to Stormknight, no worries from me on the publish attempt. ;)
Hey StormKnight, I have a custom Gunslinger class, called the gunfighter, that I have submitted. It is not and I repeat NOT a carbon copy of Mercer’s class. My class stands on it’s own with different perks and layouts for most of it’s functions. I guess he put out an update recently for his version but I haven’t read it. My class is based on the 1.0 version with many of my own different ideas incorporated in. I only ask that when you moderate my class that you do actually read it and see that it is not plagiarized, and while I did take design cues as inspiration from Mercer’s class they are both fairly different. Best of luck with the pile of submissions I assume you are burried under :)
Do we know what kind of wait time we are going to have for the subclasses? I have some people waiting to use my class but can’t until it’s published and I just want to give them an ETA.

How did you resolve the "Quickdraw" ability for adding prof. to initiative? I may be blind, but I don't see it working right for me.

Once you're done, please do not hit publish on the subclass.
Any Critical Role (or Unearthed Arcana) subclasses that are submitted as public homebrew will be rejected.
I've rejected 4 Gunslingers already today. :(

Just add with quickdraw a +3 bonus to init, then create a class feature with a +1 to init at lvl 9, then +1 at lvl 13, and finally +1 at 17.
