So, when looking at the burst fire property, it mentions that the weapon can either do its normal weapon attack OR it can switch to burst mode. It specifies the burst mode as an action but does it still count as a normal weapon attack since it’s the weapon attacking something or is it not because it doesn’t use “to-hit” and is just a separate ability action? Does it still get the benefit of things like multi attack or extra attack? Or is it to specifically be treated as NOT an attack action thus losing out on being able to be done multiple times in one turn? For an artificer, does it still require actual ammo if it’s not considered an attack action?
