So many cool and interesting artificers here so here's mine, Cecilia Batari, a tabaxi artificer alchemist I'm playing currently. She died pretty early on, but one player from our DnD-group ran a one-shot with couple of dead PCs. As a reward for overcoming very bad odds (and being partly responsible for a destruction of a major city, but who's counting) we were resurrected and now Cecilia is searching for a way to travel back in time and save the now-ruined city. To commemorate her new chance in life, I commissioned a potrait from an artist called Arven92 and she did amazing job, even incorporating an alchemical symbol for copper to the background.

Mines name is Clara Holts. She started young but over the corse of an aging effect from a spell and 3 year campaign she’s come a long way.
since being infused with raw talent by means of experimentation she’s made that genius essence her own as an inventor and alchemist. Currently attempting to bring into the world they very first mechanical prosthetics that will indirectly bring forth the warforged race in the next campaign set 1000 years into the future.
Unashamedly necro-ing this post I started years ago as I had forgotten to post my own interpretation of my now lvl20 retired Artificer, Hjalmar Gunderson. I absolutely adore the original commission I got done of him but he was only a low level by then and I just had to capture him in his end game aesthetic complete with his homunculus, a flying goo pug dog name Thiwi (because Hjalmar has a lisp, so its a play on words heh heh Im so funny). So I took the time to teach myself procreate specifically to pump this out.

That looks great, I love the goo gug flying with his tail, it's just the right amount of nonsensical :D I love the little details, little vials and syringes everywhere it'S fast to grab. I do worry about that knee protection, that seems to have NO padding at all, I hope his kneecaps are good

Oh he's all over that, he's a doctor. The knee pads over the plague doctor waxen style style chaps, which are over his padded, shock absorbent hazmat suit (thats what the green diamond-y bit is meant to be above the chaps and on the inside of the coat haha). They're essentially just to protect the aesthetic of the chaps haha

You know what, I'll throw my hat back in the ring the same way you are with that remarkable piece.
Three years on and into our Curse of Strahd game, a lot has happened. Her love interest got turned into a vampire spawn by Strahd, and she ended up becoming a champion of a Dark Power to bring him down at any cost. She's crafted a rune-infused version of Mjolnir (a light hammer with Returning Weapon and knocks a target prone on max damage), is now terrified of water, and is immune to fire damage.
Similarly to how much she's changed, I've also learned a lot more on how to make things in Koikatsu.
Yeah nice!!! Your use of interesting in lighting is awesome!!! They do look VERY evolved (levelled up maybe on this context hahah) too. Nice job! GOSH I LOVE ARTIFICERS AND HOW DIFFERENT EACH ONE CAN LOOK!

Not yet, but after these results I'm definitely going to have to give it a go!
If I had the money to spare I'd still prefer to pay someone to get exactly what I want with all the feedback and refinements that process can involve, but if the alternative is having nothing then I think AI is worth a try.

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
AI is weird. I've used several art engines and they rarely use the words you ask them to, like "Make a movie style poster for a movie called 'Invasion of the Purple Worms' with a purple worm," and the words are all gobbledygook or you say, "create an RPG style tall boney humanoid character smoking a pipe," and you get a skeleton with a three piece dissembled pipe and the bowl is coming out of their head.
You just keep trying til you get something close. These both are GREAT. Perfect for my purposes. I'm very happy with them, especially, the steel defender.
Greetings, fellow artisans, craftsmen and craftswomen. My name is Raynard "Rhodium Jack" Jackson, but my friends just call me "RJ." I'm a vedalken originally from a plane called Ravnica, where my father was the Divination Professor of the Azorius Senate Wizard college (Go Felidars!) but we had a falling out when I told him I wanted to be a law-enforcement-artificer. We compromised, but I secretly became an apprentice to a member of the Izzet League a few summers early. The screw that broke the dragon-parun's back was when he found out I was enrolled in the War Magic course instead of Divination, which he taught personally every other year. He told me he wanted nothing more to do with my "violent ways" and told me to leave. Over the next few years, I made my coin by opening a small private investigator business, which paid the bills and kept food on the table.
Art by Sam Luu, the creator of the D&D-themed webcomic Dollar and Wolfe Trading Co.
I love the Art! You don't usually see characters in black and whilte comic-style.
Love the backstory, too - although I think it's a bit short sighted to skip on Divination when you want to be an investigator. Haven't seen a lot of Ravnica content on here, it doesn't seem to be very well received...
I know it's not "Art" like comissioned or drawn, but y'all have inspired me to post my current Artificer, that I'm playing in a Exandria campaign:
He is a clash of a bunch of stuff, so don't expect a constant theme in here. He's an genasi born to tho satyrs, so he hast goat legs, fluffy ears and horns made of fire(they change in size depending on situations), while his hair is smoke. Since he's currently an armorer artificer(5)/arcane trickster rogue(3) he's wearing the stealth variant of the magical armor. Also he recently got a vestige of divergence - a mantle made out of rats that absolutely clashes with everything else, to.
So yea, this is my current hodge-podge of a character:

Howdy y'all!
Admittedly, this isn't my art as in I made it. I used Poe's stableDifusionXL bot and many many many iterations to get something that I liked.
Here's my artificer battle smith gnome, Gnotz Gno'Gnotz:
And, his faithful steel protector, Rambler, based on our old bull mastiff, Skyla
Anyone else using AI to produce their RPG art?
Huzzah!
