Yo! so i was messing around with a beast barb and added wraps that gave a +1 when i noticed the beasts built in attacks arent effected by them. is that just a DnDBeyond goof or is there a ruling that makes them not work on them?
That is because beast barb's claw, tail and bite attacks are not unarmed strikes, "Until the rage ends, you manifest a natural weapon. It counts as a simple melee weapon for you,...", they count are simple weapons. The wraps only work with unarmed strikes.
The only way to make your Natural Weapons deal POTENTIALLY more damage, is from LVL6 on, when Bestial Soul makes your Natural Weapons damage count as Magical, to overcome the resistances to non-magical Piercing / Slashing / Bludgeoning damage.
You can, of course, choose your Tail for the Bonus AC reaction and use your normal hands equipped with whatever to deal the damage, but your Claws dont get any benefit.

i see then unless you made a custom item for them theres no way to give them a +1,2, or 3 in dnd beyond
