Athletics and Perception cover the important skills for a Barbarian. What else you should take basically comes down to character flavor and/or the type of campaign/DM you have in your game. If you are doing a dungeon crawl, Intimidation may be totally pointless. If you are doing an intrigue campaign, it might come in very handy for interrogations. So pick whatever feels thematic for your character, and enjoy the flavor.
Also considering Survival, partially for that reason. Seems like it overlaps with Nature a fair amount, so likely would take Survival over that since it gets that Primal Knowledge boost. Though not entirely sure how much I'd be raging while skill checking, even with the rages lasting 10 minutes now. Probably some of the time, between combats. And I guess you get enough rages that if there were a clutch moment you really needed to make that check, you could burn a rage. Survival doesn't seem to get taken much, in my limited experience.
Thematically, fits especially well on a World Tree Barbarian, which actually gets to pick an extra Barbarian skill as part of its subclass. So could take Survival, Athletics, Perception, and two others.
I’ve read Perception is the most important of these followed by intimidation in second.
I have only seen it used very occasionally in my groups, but that could partially be cuz folks were better at Persuasion and/or Deception. Since Intimidation is really the only face skill a Barbarian has, I'm inclined to take it, so it has some social skill to contribute, lol.

Interesting. I’m still pretty new with mine; we just hit level 5 in our campaign, and that’s what I ended up going with.
I see Barbarians as spell-less Rangers so I tend to take the skills that Rangers would normally get. I think WotC sees it this way as well because there's a lot of overlap in the skill selection between the two classes.
Of the given choices, I'd pick up Perception and Survival for most games I play in and try to get Athletics from my background.

What are people's top 5 picks for skills for their Barbarian?
Does the new Primal Knowledge's STR to certain skills affect your choice?
For me it'd be Athletics & Perception, and then after that it's hard to say.
Stealth if your group Stealths and since you have decent DEX? Intimidation would give an appropriate face skill, though of lesser use?
Thoughts?

My top choice of Skills for a Barbarian are Athletics, Perception & Survival, which the latter two benefit from Primal Knowledge when raging.
My secondary choice is Nature as it can help in the wild, but somehow doesn't get benefited by this feature.
