So I decided to roll a typical dumb barbarian, but i been out of practice and just wanted to roll my character fast last minute... So using this app I rolled (rather than using a standard point system) and got some pretty bad rolls but figured I would keep them because it sounded fair, anyways... not remembering how things worked, and not wanting to look over all the info which I have the hardest time finding online (for free....) My lvl 3 has these stats, 19 str, 11 dex, 13 con, 8 int, 5 wisdom, 15 charisma, and 27 hp... So far, I have never found anything of interest, because of my garbage stats in checking things out, I have no armor, and just basic starting gear for a barbarian half orc. I chose berserker as my archetype. I was feeling really down about my poor choices in making this character until finally I got lucky rolls and almost single handedly killed a sereph gaining a magical living sword and shield making me very viable! .... Then a damn other person persuaded the living stuff to leave me and join them... (death to all charisma characters). So now I have nothing again, and my rare reward gone because I couldn't out persuade them....with -3 to wisdom throws, and now with this crazy good shield, I cant even hit them. Can this be salvaged? Or should I try my hardest to jump off a cliff, or suicide or something and just roll a monk who doesn't @#$%ing need items to be deadly... Because at this point I feel completely annoyed for my character sucking and someone else literally stealing my only stuff, WITH WORDS. I can't even turn this guy monk because he has garbage dex and wisdom. Seriously I don't know how to make this viable.
I have to wonder about some of this stat distribution, 15 charisma but 11 dex and 13 con? Terrible idea. You should probably talk with the dm though about the whole "someone stole my loot and I have nothing now" thing. That seems like a sort of meta issue that really should be addressed if your really not having fun. You could also ask for a reroll for the reason you listed at the start of the post, that being "hey listen I sort of made a shitty character cause I never took time to think much about things, can I reroll my character and just keep the race and class the same for story consistency?" Also good lord you rolled horrid stats and I feel for that.
I do wonder... did your DM give you an intelligent weapon to help make up for your own character's lack of intelligence/wisdom, or did they just have this particular magic item at the end of a dungeon and you happened to just be the first character to get to it? If the latter... I can understand why other group members would want to get in on the item. However, if it's something your DM gave you specifically with the intent to make up for your character's flaws then odds are they'll likely be willing to come up with a new treasure for you to find soon.
However, I think most DMs would be comfortable with letting you respec your character early in a campaign. For example, in Adventurer's League play you're allowed to change anything you want with your character between sessions up to level 5, just in case something about your character ends up not being as fun or intuitive as you thought when you rolled them up.
Was it a party member that took the items from you or an enemy NPC? If it was a party member talk to them and the DM because that's a crappy thing to do. If it was an enemy NPC talk with your party about helping you get the items back. If you really want to change characters just tell your group your current character isn't built for adventuring and has decided to retire. Then make a new Barbarian with more thought into the character.
You seem dissatisfied in general with a number of things.
Firstly, you didn't take any time to learn about how to roll a character, did it quickly, and without reading up on what to do. You're annoyed at yourself.
Secondly, you're annoyed at your stats, and blame them for not finding anything useful... but honestly, your character shouldn't only find things because they make rolls. Things exist in the world, or they don't. Unless they're deliberately hidden, they shouldn't require rolls to be discovered.
Next and third, you're annoyed that another player took away items that you feel belong to your character (did they? What made them yours?). This is definitely annoying - both for the other player to do it, and for the DM to allow it to happen. Both of those players treated you unfairly, and didn't take into consideration your enjoyment of the game, and you ought to mention that to the DM. Your character actually has CHA 15 which is pretty high, and allocating two magical items on CHA rolls isn't really on. To be honest, loot shouldn't be allocated that way at all.
Lastly, you seem annoyed that you can't kill the other party member who now has the shield?
My guess is that your DM is pretty young (I'm guessing 13 or younger) and your group is both quite new to playing, and more interested in winding one another up than ensuring that everyone has a good time. If this is the way that the group is playing then I suggest discussing these issues. Stats and rolls are one thing, and you can have a great time playing a character who has abysmal stats, but it will be difficult to enjoy playing if the DM and other players are happy to do things that are clearly going to spoil your fun.
On a final note, finding two magical items, one of which is sentient, is pretty out of line for the expected power level at L3. Your DM really sounds inexperienced, which is not something to hold against them if they are, but they may need to learn how to manage player expectations.
tough luck mate, however i would try to just challenge the sweat talkers to a battle and if you come out on top then keep on attacking them to give them 2 failed death saves and let the dice gods decide their fate, up to you though.

Get your stats re-arranged at the very least, move the 15 to Con and the 13 to dex. That alone should help out a great deal.
