This feature can restore a creature to no more than half of its hit point maximum.
What does it exactly mean? Like if I have a total of 20 hp and got hurt so temporally 4 left and my cleric friend cast this, can I get 10 back so a total of 14 hp as a result, or I can get only 6 back because 10 is the half of my total hp? It's confusing... hope anyone can help me!

it can heal you up to half your max hp.
Luckily it can be spread around, so it’s good for helping multiple party members, as long as they are all below half.
