How are we supposed to log our beast forms in Beyond in 2024?
The Wild Shape menu under extras specifies that it’s intended only for 2014 Wild Shapes, but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere else set up keeping stat blacks close at hand.
I got the same question. Should be like spells. A player can have x wild shape (depending on level) forms and can change 1 each long rest. So like preparing spells there should be a way to enter which forms you have prepared. Also on AboveVTT you should be able to make it possible to change your character in the wild shape form you choose.
They said in the patch notes that they couldn't yet support all of the features for the new wildshape, but if you check, you will see that since then they have made some improvements. For example, if you check the stat block for a Wolf listed as a Wild Shape (2014), you will see that it also shows your own proficiency for any skills that you have but the Beast lacks. The improvements are coming, but the 2024 rules changed a lot of things for a lot of classes, so not all features are implemented yet.
For now, just add the shapes you know to your character sheet, and use them how you always have: In context of your character's stats and abilities.

Wildshapes in extras have had your additional proficiencies on them for ages, that's not a new feature by any means. Ideally, they add an additional section to track wildshapes with the new rules, it'd be nice to have the right AC as a moon druid.
Fair enough! It's been a long time since I used dndbeyond's wild shape tool (mostly because I've been DMing for about 6 years). Thanks for the correction.

Seemingly not high on the priority totem pole. I love most of the changes, especially with druids. My wife asked me to help her create her first Circle of the Moon Druid and was so confused when she had to track them outside of DnDbeyond.
Not to knock the developers, I know they love this game and do their best - this should be an easy win for them if they fixed it soon.
I've just been using the Extras section and using the 2024 stat blocks. Would be nice if they updated it though. The attacks and such should be rollable and AC calculations should take effect, but that's just my opinion

Why is this still not fixed?

I am at this point i am knocking them. Where is this basic feature. And why are they not saying anything about it. Where is the roadmap

If this doesn't become functional after the Proper Release of the 2024 MM then we should start ringing the Buzzers...
it seams to have been added now
but not well. it sorts in all monsters from mm2024
