I'm currently playing a Devotion Paladin in an Undead heavy campaign fulfilling roles of tank, support, and bursting the hell out of undead when they do appear. My party is composed of three other people exclusively dedicated do damage in combat and have little to none RP spells/abilities and are quite squishy and only one druid that can heal/revive the others, so I took sentinel at lvl 1 with Vhuman to try and protect them.
In the last session, my character died while tanking in the frontline and then got revived (barely). And now we're close to level up to 8, so I was wondering, what feat/multiclass can help me? I won't takes ASI cause the campaign is close to an end and I already have a +2 longsword and a stone of good luck, so I was thinking in maybe dipping a level in divine soul sorcerer to help when things go really bad with healing word and also having shield or absorb elements available (plate + shield + shield of faith + shield spell is 27 of AC for one round even if I'm using two spells slots), also gaining access to Favored by the gods. And then taking maybe Inspiring Leader or Shield Master at lvl 9 to help with damage mitigation. What feat/option do you recommend me to increase my survivability or help more my party?
I wouldn't multiclass. Enjoy those third level spells at 9th level before the end of your career!
As for feat choices I support taking a cool feat over a boring ASI boost so close to the end. You wanna play with toys, not add up slightly higher numbers.
I think Eldritch Adept could be a really fun choice that spices up your build with a fun ability. It's not the most powerful option by any means but it does have a lot of cool potential pick-ups. My favorites are Misty Visions and Mask of Many Faces. Not a power or even a synergy pick. Just fun optionality that you can enjoy liberally until the campaign ends.
I feel like a ginormous hypocrite for saying this, but increase your CHA. I built my paladin with a fighter multiclass, then I slapped on a flametongue greatsword, a belt, and GWM. However, my idea was to always be the big damage dude with neat spells on the side.
If your idea is to be the support, CHA literally does it all. You're in a campaign where there's a lot of undead? Turn the Unholy practically wins encounters (or at the very least buys precious time), but only if those nasty undead fail their saves which is made more likely by increasing CHA. If you want your party to mitigate more damage, increasing CHA also increases yours and their saves.
Now, if you're a v.human, maybe you increased your str and con with your starting racial boosts and maybe CHA's at some odd number. If that's the case, taking one of the new tashas feat to increase your CHA might just be the healthy middle point you need.
If you're just looking for a couple specific spells, magic initiate:cleric could do the trick. Get those spells without slowing down your pally advancement. And I know you said you don't want an ASI, but a con boost will give you more hp (and better save) and help you survive, if that's becoming an issue. Though only 8 hp more isn't likely to matter too much.
Or if you're allowed, aberrant dragonmark will boost your con by 1 (really nice if its an odd number, obviously), and give you a couple spells that use con as your casting stat, which is probably good for you.

Yeah, I thought about Magic Initiate: Cleric but I think is not good enough. On the other hand, one level of Divine Soul give me access to 4 cantrips both from the sorcerer and cleric class, and healing word on top of maybe shield or absorb elements, and yeah, my main concern is survivability that's why I want to take either Shield Master or maybe Inspiring Leader on the way. I'm still planning on continue my advancement on paladin after that, since our DM confirmed us that the campaign would end at level 10 so I won't get Improved Divine Smite anyway!

I currently have my CHA at 16, CON at 16, and STR at 18. Turn undead is of course a wonderful CF, however, it's not every day that I can use it. With TCOE, I find using Harness Divine Power more often (and haven't used Sacred Weapon since I got my +2 sword). Originally was planning on bumping CHA up to boost the saves, but our DM is very strict with the 10 feet limitation, so I haven't used my aura bonus on my teammates a lot of times. (In fact, I think I've used it once so far, since they are all casters and a Hexblade!)
I'm a bit late to the party but if you're supposed to fulfill the role of tank, go for Sentinel so you can lock enemies down and prevent them from moving away. If they attack your ally while you're next to them; hit em again for a ton of damage (Divine Smite) and they'll quickly stop doing that.

Sentinel is a good idea, but I think he said he already took it at first level with vhuman.
The Inspiring Leader feat is pretty decent for giving your party mates some cushion room if they're pretty squishy. It can be pretty fun rp-wise too. :)
If you just find yourself getting hit a bit too much, the Tough feat is never a bad option for tanks. That or Increase your con by 2 as other people said. Less hp, but better concentration checks.

Hi! Is not even our party being THAT squishy, it's that the campaign has been hard. It's CoS btw, we are about to enter the amber temple and I am the main tank, taking the punishment most of the time or our Cicle of the Stars Druid fulfilling the healer role. I took Inspiring leader because my CHA is 18 :), so far, lvl 2/3 Aid+Inspiring Leader Combo has been a blessing! Thankfully, my CON saves are +7 (16 CON + stone of good luck) :D!

Yeah charisma is the smart choice. A bit boring but will make you better at everything you care about.

There’s tough. No toys to play with but a big boost to hp should help survivability.
I like the old standby of using Shield Mastery. There's just something satisfying about knocking people around using a shield.
