I'm not normally a fan of rangers, but Monster Slayer to emulate a witcher, but without the darker flavor of mercer's blood hunters (which are still cool) is really appealing. It's also mechanically really cool in that it focuses on taking down singular important targets- like you really would want it with you when you go dragon hunting or something, slayer's eye is also an amazing ability in the other pillars of the game, because it lets you know more about the creatures and people you might have found- it might give you some hints that there are vampires infiltrating the royal court if you stay on the side of the ball and spend some time studying people, without actually telling you outright what they are.
"After about a minute of observation, you see that a number of the people in this room are vulnerable to raidant damage"
"huh that's weird, do I have any diea of why that might be? Maybe they aren't really human?"
"Make a religion check to find out"
"20!"
"You realize that they are likely vampires, this part of the world has stories dating back centuries of shadowy vampire clans"
Has anyone figured out how to automate the Slayer's Prey feature so that I do not have to roll a separate d6, that way I can roll the weapon attack and all the damages at the same time?
