Hi, guys! I have a question that I hope you can answer to me. I would like to tell me how te heck dos disengage works. Especially how far can I move away from my target.
One interesting point. in you only move 10ft away you will probably get attacked on the next round. To where having a ranged attack and using all movement to get to a hide point may be better.
Still it all depends on your team, your character and the situation on hand.
To be fair, as Rogue you usually only attack someone that is already in melee with someone from your party so moving 10ft away could be enough to make the enemy not chase you or trigger an opportunity attack from someone in your party.

Thanks in advance.
P.S.: New in the game and in the forum.
It effectively just means that you can move without triggering opportunity attacks. You can move as far as you have movement left that turn.

So, if I have 30 ft. of movement and, to attack, I move 20 ft., can I disengage 10 ft.?
Yup. As long as you have the cunning action feature and a bonus action to use it with.
Much obliged, gentlemen!
