My stats are as follows: Str-8 Dex-15 Con-14 int-8 wis-12 char-14
Currently lv 4 and on a team of 6 others (7 people total) 2 warlocks. 1 druid. 1 wizard. 1 barbarian. 1 sorcerer.
Racial feature for Elf I have mage hand cantrip that DM is allowing me to utilize for sleight of hand checks and thieves tools
I took Lucky feat instead of stat improvement.
Lately my teammates aside from 2 are terrible at team playing. 2 warlocks and I consistently playing along with each other's strengths, the others complaining about the free **** we get them. (Obviously no more of that)
So I'm looking for something with survivability or overwhelming damage. DM has also allowed me a homebrew finesse weapon, with 10ft range if that's needed info
As per my stats. My available multi class options are as follows: Bard, Blood Hunter, Fighter, Sorcerer, Warlock.
If your warlocks are going devil's sight/darkness, getting in on that might be pretty good. It's a little silly having there warlocks though. Battlemaster with repost gets you a way to use sneak attack when others miss you. Getting sneak attacks on your reaction is the best way to up your damage and this is a good way to do it. You could just get this with a feat though.
Level five is good for rogues though so I'd take that before you multiclass. Rogue by itself is very good so if you stick with that, you'll be doing great!
when debating multiclassing the first question i always ask myself is "does this make sense for my character?" did your character recently fail a critically important check for something? how did that make the character feel? If a character is thinking about multiclassing its usually because of a shortcoming with their current profession. Personally I never multiclass if it doesn't make sense for the character regardless of what I as a player want,(don't do this unless its what you like :) . Is you character selfish/self centered/vain? they may not see any reason to change their ways, why fix what isn't broken? then once you're sure and decide to multiclass then you can start playing the meta game >:)
Reasons to keep leveling rogue: lvl 5 rogue gives you uncanny dodge and increases your sneak attack damage, levels that increase your sneak attack damage are good stopping points for rogue(5,9,13,etc...), evasion at lvl 7 is insanely good especially since you have a lot of blasters in your group and will help put their conscience at ease knowing you can easily evade their poorly placed fireballs. Panache can be really good for protecting above mentioned squishy blasters allowing them to blast away more faces :). waiting to get another ASI, lvl 8 put 1 into dex and wis allows you to multiclass into monk, 16 cha will be really nice for bard as well as increasing you initiatve.
reasons to multiclass: Bard would be a great pick up since you have no inspiration in the party and will be a good way to passive aggressively force your other players into team playing, they will be much more reluctant to go rogue (teehee) once they get a taste of your sweet sweet inspiration, as well as, again, helping protect some of the squishier party members.
you have a lot of casters already in your group so you dont really NEED another one but if the shoe fits wear it. maybe one of the warlocks is trying to convert you into the service of their deity? the wizard can't stop trying to tutor you in the arcane arts or just being in the presence of a sorcerer and being exposed to their raw magic will make it manifest inside you? morning workout routines with the barbarian teaching you new fighting styles.
sorry for rambling TLDR; Ask your character if they're ready for a change :)
Hi I thinking on dipping three lvls in swashbuckler rogue. I have a lvl 7 blood hunter order of the Lycan, to attack three times I need the duel wield feat to consider my natural attack claws weapons. But people are telling me that only works that way for my blood hunter feature and not for the sneak attack feature, why is that?

Sneak attack requires a weapon attack using a finesse weapon. Natural claws are not considered finesse weapons.
