Right now his stats are 12 str, 19 dex, 12 con, 13 int, 14 wis and 14 char. I don't know what my archetype will be. Our party already have a bard, a warlock and a ranger, so i wanna go with something that is fun for me, but that does try to rob theirs. So, swashbuckler is incredible, so is AT, but i don't want to have the spotlight of our gnome bard. Maybe i could be a scout who does not really like to be outdoors, but he had to a lot, so he likes to makes the best with it, like, by having a cooking kit and really learning what he can eat, and how to make it good.
Assassin is cool, but i don't want be one. I would like to be a thief, but as it is, it sounds really vanilla to me, not many options to have fun, or maybe i'm looking at it in a wrong way.
And then we have the feats. I'm gonna have to get one +1 plus for my dex at some moment, but i don´t know what, being a halfling. Maybe second chance, or squat nibleness? They are not really good, but is more or less what i have. If i go the AT rout i will put my 14 in Int, and maybe have to put my Int to 16 later, the scout rout will be very feat dependent.
While AT shares similar spells, the bard will always be better than you at magic so I wouldn't worry too much about stealing their spotlight in that regard. If you have access to the SCAG cantrips, most of your magic will be them and the mage hand shenanigans. Swashbuckler, on the other hand, might push into their territory quite a bit depending on their style. Scout is good for ranged, but of little use if you're mostly melee. Thief is nice if you're going to have fun with objects in combat, healer's kit among the more interesting ones.
As for feats, if you don't like the ones available for dex, you could increase it and con or something else by one and take a half feat for a that stat instead. Normally, ATs will focus on spells that don't really make use of their int, though your stats are good enough that you can ignore that if you'd like.

I think the Thief is super fun. Fast Hands and Second Story Work together make you better at running, jumping, climbing, and throwing things. Think about how Spider-Man fights, but instead of web slinging you chuck caltrops, ball bearings, vials of oil, or alchemist's fire. Not to mention being able to pick someone's pocket with a Bonus Action, take something from them orplant something on them!
Edit: Ooh! You know what else is an item? manacles!
things that would be good to know are your characters background and what kind of campaign are you running? if youre doing one of the waterdeep modules or something with lots of "politics" and intrigue the inquisitive scout and thief are all really good as well as assassin later with disguise kits and forging docs. depending on how your other party members play swashbuckler may be a good choice, panache gives enemies disadvantage when not attacking you and fancy footwork is really nice for weaving in and out of melee range without provoking aoo. personally if you already have a warlock and a bard in group you may feel overshadowed if you pick arcane trickster but being able to use mage hand to disarm traps and pick locks could save you from taking a poisonous needle to the wrist or a burst of poison gas to the face.
also have you considered simply multi classing instead of picking a subclass yet? monk is a solid multi class to dip into if you want to wait a couple levels, again this depends mostly on your play style, the party's play style and the type of campaign you're playing. generally whenever i play a new character, (especially when starting at lvl 1), i like to use whatever is going in the campaign and how my character is feeling to decide what to do more than anything else. maybe have the character do some research, ask the other characters in the party about their classes, deities they worship/commune with, did i fail/succeed at something important that could influence the way my character feels about doing certain tasks, (example being trying to disarm a trap and failing causing a trap door to drop a swarm of spiders on top of you, my character would definitely be going arcane trickster :)
sorry for rambling TLDR; all rogues are good think more about what the character wants than what the player wants.

What do you think?

If you’re ranged, 12 con is quite a bit low. AT imo doesn’t steal bard’s spotlight since they have lots of different spells.

Canto alla vita
alla sua bellezza
ad ogni sua ferita
ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty
To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
