So, if I have the fast hands feature, will I be able to reload a crossbow? Because I plan on going rouge/fighter, with staying back and being long range as possible
Crossbow reload in 5e is assumed to take place as part of your turn. In other words, since you're a rogue and only get one attack per turn, you don't need to worry about the loading property of crossbows. If you had extra attack, you would still only be able to make one crossbow attack per turn, barring the Crossbow Expert feat.
For a crossbow rogue (using a single hand crossbow held in mainhand) crossbow expert and sharpshooter are essential. Other than that if your dex is 20, eventually you might want the UA feat that allows you to take the ranged fighting style for the +2 hit, may save you the trouble of taking fighter levels unless you really want them.

Partway through the quest for absolute truth.
Ok then, thank you, though I’m not going to be a pure rouge, might get some fighter levels
