Hey hey! As the title implys, I'm looking for advice on weird Dragon Sorc build. I have two ideas on how to pull it off, but not sure which on would be better.
1) Hill Dwarf, Dragon Sorc, Tough Feat: Pretty straight forword with this build. The race, class, and feat combo give 3 extra hp per hit dice (my group has a house rule to always take max health so we have a bit of a saftey cushion and the GM can have some fun enemy wise) every level. I'll have to sacrifice some damage melee wise due to the weapon limitations, but I have spells to make that up. Armor wise I'd run Dex to maximize the Dragon Sorc Armor from the bloodline.
2) Tortle, Dragon Sorc, Tough Feat: This one is also straight forward. Tortles come with a big AC bonus with Dragon BL and Tough feat give me extra health. This would be a Str Charisma focus Sorc. Would run Quarterstaff and Fists for weapons.
Both are solid in my eyes, but I don't have alot of experience with caster classes. Any advice is most appreciated!!
I would really advise against this. If you want to play a melee caster, play a paladin, ranger, valor bard, warlock, or some combination of those, as discussed in this thread.

"Nothing goes over my head. My reflexes are to fast: I would catch it."
"I cannot comment on an ongoing investigation."
"Well of course I know that. What else is there? A kitten?"
"You'd like to think that, Wouldn't you?"
"A duck."
"What do you mean? An African or European swallow?"
The biggest problem with trying to play a melee build on a sorcerer is that they do not get extra attack. You can get pretty tanky with some of the AC and feat options, but you will have a very hard time dealing out respectable damage while only making a single attack per turn.
