I'm adding new origin spells for my sorcerer and future sorcerers of my campaigns, to make my sorcerers happy!
So far I've come with these two lists for Divine Sould and Draconic Bloodlines respectively.
I want to hear your opinions on the lists and suggestions for other subclasses. I'm gonna be updating soon with the origin spell lists for the other sorcerer subclasses!
Its almost criminal not to have Divine Favor on the Divine Soul list. And maybe Immolation for the Draconic Heritage but have the spells damage typed linked to their heritage instead of just fire.

I think I will switch guiding bolt for Divine favor. I was thinking on support spells but maybe guiding is a little too good anyways. I actually made the Draconic Heritage spells that way avoiding adding linking spells to a specific damage type, that's why I choose chromatic orb and Dragon's breath, but creating a homebrew version or modifying immolation is an excellent option too! Thank you! I was thinking on maybe changing Aura of purity with Death Ward? What do you think?
This isn't actually a signature, just something I copy and paste onto the bottom of all my posts. Or is it? Yep, it is. Or is it..? I’m a hobbit, and the master cranial imploder of the "Oops, I Accidently Destroyed Someone's Brain" cult. Extended sig. I'm actually in Limbo, it says I'm in Mechanus because that's where I get my WiFi from. Please don't tell the modrons, they're still angry from the 'Spawning Stone' fiasco. No connection to Dragonslayer8 other than knowing them in real life.

An interesting experiment. But I do think it's worth mentioning that, up until Tasha's, every class that ever did this only added spells that were found in the PHB. Most are still just in the Basic Rules, which are free.
Only the subclasses Clockwork Soul (sorcerer) and The Fathomless (warlock) break this mold. And both of those subclasses do it with a single spell that's found in the same sourcebook. (Spells I dislike but were published, nonetheless.)
So, maybe, don't go overboard with spells not found in the PHB.

Instead of being able to switch spells on level up to one of two schools of magic, I put in a twist. Whenever you finish a long rest, the DM can order you to roll a d8 to pick a school of magic. You must then switch one of these expanded spells with a spell of equal level from that school of magic that is on the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard list. After you finish a long rest, you forget the spell you just learned and relearn the expanded spell you forgot.

This is good! I don't get a few (mostly reincarnate and creation) but I like it!

Divine soul is already possibly the best sorc subclass even without an expanded spell list.
If you want to give them one I'd suggest giving them spells that have niche utility and flavor. something like: light cantrip (they already get a free spell at lv 1) Augury, calm emotions, or zone of truth Fast friends, speak with dead, or incite greed aura of purity, divination
They still have access to the ENITIRE cleric list which is massively powerful and is something that the tashas sorcs don't have anything close to.
A bit late to the party, but this is the simple solution I'm using for subclass spells for my Wild Magic Sorcerer, which my DM approved:
If forced to cast a spell as a Surge effect, that spell becomes a known spell and can be cast by choice once appropriate spell slots are available.
Works well since it's 9 combat-useful spells that are nicely spread out among the levels, and incentivizes Surges happening :D
No 5th-level spells in that set, but I'm waiting to see if the campaign goes to level 9, and if we do, I'm hoping to get my Summon Ally idea approved for the 10th spell: after a long rest, roll a d8, which determines which of the 8 summon spells from Tasha's can be cast that day as a 5th-level spell (leaves out 6th-level Summon Fiend).
I'm deliberately not giving my character the ability to change these spells, basically on the theme of being subject to the whims of chaos and having to work with what happens or becomes available, so of course YMMV.
Edit: one strong advantage of this method is that it introduces randomness to gaining spells in a very simple and self-explanatory way, so it's great for folks who don't want to use a more complicated method like rolling on a table
My current GM and I worked out a nice list for draconic that was based around utility for the core dragon spells, then elemental focused spells for the type. I am playing a Silver so my list is:
1-Absorb Elements, Command (WIS) <elemental resistance and a silver dragon's regal influence on mortals> 3-See Invisibility, Dragon’s Breath (C_DEX) <dragon sight and the obviously named spell choice which you HAVE to include> 5-Fly (C), Slow (C-WIS) <dragon flight and the ability to debuff by chilling a person to a crawl> 7-Secret Chest, Ice Storm (DEX) <calling your own dragon's horde and a cold based control/damage spell> 9-Summon Draconic Spirit (C), Cone of Cold (CON) <finally released in Fizban's because all the others have a summons in their list coupled with the big damage spell for cold>
We wanted to include a spell to represent a dragon's lair, but it was between fly or tiny hut and fly made much more sense. The other thing we quibbled about was either Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum (for a lair spell) or Leomund's Secret Chest (horde spell). This was the tough one to choose between because I really enjoy them both, but they are the same level and my GM felt secret chest would be a better benefit to an adventurer. We had originally selected either Legend Lore or Hold Monster for the level 9 spell, but both released lists have a creature summon on it and the UA at the time had the draconic spirit, so we went with it.

IMHO, Earthdawn is still the best fantasy realm, Shadowrun is the best Sci-Fi realm, and Dark Sun is the best D&D realm.

With newest Unearthed Arcana, I think Summon Draconic Spirit would be a fit for the Draconic Sorcerer.
I agree.
EDIT: Or any of the other draconic spells.

Here is one for the shadow magic sorcerer!

On a homebrew Facebook page, I created this list for the Wild Magic Sorcerer.
