Hi, I have a player that wants to play the undying patron for a ToA game. I think it's fricken awesome and her character design is amazing. She's the type of RP player that goes 100% for aesthetics, sacrificing the overall strength of the character.
I love that and I'm lucky to have such a fun player... but the other players are building fairly strong builds and I' worry she wont have fun if they eclipse her too much. I was wondering how would you guys buff up a bit the undying?
I was thinking of just given her Fiendish vigor as a subclass feature (on top of the normal evocations that she will pick). Is this enough?
I hope they buff the subclass as I think it’s pretty cool best buffs I can think of are things to make the warlock more tough such as resistance to piercing slashing and force damage , maybe even the ability to shrug off death once at a later level
I would give them a creature to remove their limbs and have the limbs move around and do stuff for them, like familiars. That way they actually have a chance to use that feature that puts them back on. :P

Maybe the Undead Patron from the Unearthed Arcana? That might fit the flavor, and be less pathetic
I agree the UA Patron is pretty decent. Good idea.
